Default M-Engineering: New "GTS Style" / OEM+ Map available for 992 Carrera S

Howdy and Happy New Year! Available now for current (no additional cost!) and future M-Tuner customers with the 992 Carrera S, the new "GTS Style" / OEM+ Mapping is making some big waves. This essentially turns your "S" into "GTS" power levels as they would come from the factory. This map is compatible with 91 or 93 (95RON or 98RON) octane gasoline. This is great for those not wanting to take your car's power levels beyond what is factory set. Backed by M-Engineering customer support and custom code, we can also add our features to these maps as well.
  • PSE Exhaust Valve Modifications (true ON or OFF function, no need to buy a standalone PSE valve controller)
  • Loud Cold Start Elimination
  • Auto Start/Stop Elimination
  • Removal of pops and burbles in sport mode
  • Free Revving in "N" Neutral

Tested and proven on the street and our Mainline ProHub Dyno. Here is an example of a bone-stock 992 Carrera S running 93 octane gas with our "GTS Style" map installed. The power pickup is noticeable and quite fun across the entire rpm band. This power is at the wheels/hubs, not engine/crank.

I also wanted to toss up another graph as well for those curious how it compares to the M-Engineering Off-The-Shelf maps as well as a ProTune power figure.

If you are a current M-Tuner customer and would like a "GTS Style" map for your S, shoot us an email over to calibration@m-engineering.us and we can get you setup.

For those interested in purchasing M-Tuner, a link can be found here.

I would be interested if there was a 91 tune option.

The GTS map works for 91 and 93 octane. The dyno demonstration was done with 93 octane. I'll edit the post to clarify, thank you!

New tune looks very enticing but I'm wondering is there a cost effective option if all one wantss to do is eliminate pops and burbles in Sport/+?

$138.89 per horsepower.... I guess based on WHP. Only $83.33 per hp based on advertised 30hp difference.

I guess the upside is you can get the GTS hp without having the GTS design options limits.

Waiting on the iPhone/iOS version announced about a year ago. Is that still in the works?

Best guess, they need to sell the dongles they bought into inventory before they do the wireless. No one would want the wired version and they take a loss.

Still in the works! New products take time and patience
And yes, there will be a very reasonable "upgrade program" of some kind. Details TBD and no ETA.
