I haven't driven a Turbo S, but the M tune does add a lot of power, particularly on 93 octane and if you have sports cats and an exhaust. I will never know how much HP was ultimately added to my car, but it had to have been well over 100
Between the power from M engineering tune and the 300 lb less weight, I can see why a Turbo S doesn’t feel significantly quicker than a tuned Carrera S/GTS, though I’m sure if they raced the Turbo S would still pull noticeably on a tuned Carrera S. With E85 tune on the Carrera S it could probably give a Turbo S a run for its money. Being able to run full E85 on our stock injectors and fuel pump is a game changer for the Carrera S/GTS.
I know this will sound lame, I drove a 2022 Turbo S over the weekend and I wasn’t super impressed compared to my 2021 C4S with m engineering stage 2 tune (93 Oct with Akra exhaust). Yes I know in a 0-60 I don’t stand a chance against the turbo S, but seriously it didn’t feel that much different compared to mine.
Not surprised!!
A little off topic but is your Akra an exhaust only and how big a difference in sound and volume over stock set up?

I have the Akra exhaust only. Nice change in tone and bump in volume. Pretty modest overall, which was what I wanted. Sort of "OEM+" since the PSE is fairly tame, IMO.
well I just looked again and noticed that I braked at the end before i hit the quarter. Probably would've made sub-11 if I hadn't. That orange line is acceleration, it drops like a brick to -1g before the end of the run. oops.

sounds amazing! Take it to a real strip and post up a time slip. I can’t wait to see it. You have the fastest S so far.

I sure would like to, but there's not a quarter mile track for at least a 5 hour drive from me, ever since they shut down the Atlanta Dragway. Every once in a while the Atlanta Motor Speedway opens up its pit lane for drags but I haven't seen it in a while. Downhill slope helped on the run above, but I suspect a prepared surface (and no question of "have I made it the full quarter mile yet?") would probably yield more of an advantage. C&D managed a 10.9, I should be able to beat that by a few tenths.
But I have seen some 60-130 times closer to 7 or maybe 7.2, so someone's still got me beat (unless starting from a dig hurts by that much).

AMP has no drag strip. At least, not that I'm aware of. I've been karting there quite a bit and the facilities and kart track are great. I'll get the 911 out there eventually but that won't help me with quarter mile times.
