You said the tune would "wake the car up" There's another thread here where people talk about a ticking noise coming from the engine. I was saying the ticking noise might be the engine snoring.
My convoluted, and apparently unsuccesful, attempt at humor. 🙂
Ah, I hadn’t seen the other thread. That was a very good attempt at a dad joke!

1 mo into my 93 Oct stage one tune and got airbag codes and seatbelt alarm even when I had belt on, dealer cleared the codes but said it was from the tune?

I don’t really see how that’s possible. But anyway you could’ve cleared the codes yourself with your M engineering software.
Is the rev limiter removal finally working - or is still the launch control also affected?
Can’t speak for the PDK but man I love the stationary rev limit increase to 7000 RPMs for my manual. It’s great to hear the engine rev as high as I want when stopped in neutral and knowing I can actually launch the car at an rpm that won’t bog the engine.
All I know is the dealer took it out of Dyno mode and cleared the codes. What is odd is the company that installed the tune while I was out of town didn’t have the capability to get it into Dyno mode in the first place?
