992 Carrera OBD Flashing

Nice. I was able to hit 24-25 peak PSI with my tune. At one point I was even over 27 PSI, I swear it! But that was a flash that later on got corrected as I refined my tune.
All of the power hits you over 5000 RPM, so without a doubt the car is mad fast with the 93 octane tune.
I actually don’t think that my 602 hp stock Audi R8 feels that much quicker than my M Tuned 992 did, except for the obvious difference in power delivery between turbocharged and NA motors.

Having tuned many cars in my younger days I was very skeptical of the reviews/feedback I’ve been reading, because you always end up regretting some part of getting one.
I just flashed the M-Engineering tune recently and holy hell am I blown away. It totally exceeds my expectations for all the reasons you noted and all.

Question for M Engineering
I’m loving the tune and I have two questions.
1. Is it possible to code the parking brake to automatically engage when park is selected?
2. Is it possible to increase the burbles in sports mod?

2. Burbles are best enhanced with aftermarket exhaust and we don't enhance them for emissions purposes, Porsche's factory burbles are already quite aggressive. We get many requests to remove them and that is something we can do.

Excited to have my M engineering tune installed next week in scottsdale by my local shop as I will be out of town for the C2S. Once I can the factory Goodyears for Michelins it will be. Rocket ship Nsx will do a Dyno run

I too have it done... so much more sound and what a 911 should have down low with the flat 6 (especially with the turbos now). The car feels more sporty from an aural standpoint during cruising and start up yet isnt over the top. Not all owners can constantly run their cars above the 5k OEM valve opening threshold so if you are already getting the M Engineering tune- this is a bonus for sure.
I haven’t gone over 4,500rpm yet, but the few times I did, for just a split second, the exhaust completely changed in sound. I’m dying to hear it after break in miles. Are you saying I get to hear it all the time even at lower RPM with the PSE tune?

Yes sir, the PSE flaps do not normally open down low and the tune keeps them open which creates a much better aural experience even at lower rpms. You get a very nice low end grunt low speed cruising and then of course you still have the post higher rpms LeMans style shrieks. Its nice duality to say the least.
Now I have a modded rear section and 200 cell cats, so my pleasure is further accentuated.

There is certainly a little bit of power to be had with flaps fully open, especially in the upper-end of the RPM range. The valve-less systems we have tested like from @Soul Performance have netted us some pretty good power gains compared to units with valves. Our shop 992 Turbo with PTME1100 Turbos and a SOUL valveless exhaust makes about 50whp more than the other valved aftermarket system we were testing, even when fully open.
Valves open is not for everyone either, it's a personal preference on car noise and volume, and some systems sound better with or without it on. I personally prefer to have the PSE mod on with 100% open as it sounds pretty awesome. Even the bone-stock Porsche logic when you enter sport mode or push the PSE button, the valves do not open all the way 100%, they stay partially closed.
That being said, you will get more power by going with upgraded link pipes rather than just opening valves for basic bolt-on cars.

Or does the valves also change the spooling? That would seem interesting to me as a non expert.
