Only if you define performance by straight line 0-60 times, which most well-informed drivers do not.

Well I can say that the FVD tune is not what they are representing. I thought I would try it because it was reasonably priced, purportedly safe, and provided a money back guarantee. None of these are true.

I had delays in receiving the tune because they had not tuned a 2022 yet. And when I got the tune it was unacceptable with a lag then a surge, plus many CEL codes. Since the German didn't speak English, communication was difficult. I was told to take the car to the dealer to read the codes. Yeah right.
I finally gave up since they were not looking at data logs from my car or a similar car and just making guesses as to how to tune it. I requested a refund well within the 30 days and have yet to receive the full amount. My advice - go elsewhere.

Well this is disappointing. I was contemplating the "try the refundable ones first" approach as well. FVD was on the list. Sorry you were the guinea pig, but thanks for sharing and saving the rest of us from this.

From various Rennlist folks that went with the M-Engineering tune, and a couple of YouTube reviews, seems like M-Engineering is the way to go. After my 1 year anniversary, I plan to get the M-engineering tune.

What would be interesting is to see before and after dragy times?

That is disappointing but good feedback.

I have always had good results with FVD but I will be going M-Engineering when I decide it is time to tune

What kind of CEL codes were you getting from your tune? I find that a bit odd

Hard to say. They say so little about their tune on their website, that you're sort of left guessing?

P0148 and a bunch of others. CEL's were related to fuel delivery failures. I'm assuming lean condition but don't know for sure. I sent them all the codes but never heard back.

+1 for M-Engineering. Granted they are at the higher end $$ for a tune, but you get what you pay for.

M-Engineering prides itself in being a US based company and currently has an all-American workforce. You are directly supporting the American economy by choosing M-Engineering and we can't thank you enough. We tune cars all over the globe and have already done the 2022 cars.
We are always here to look at datalogs and provide quick feedback and solutions for our customers, even well after the sale. We don't leave anyone in the dark. Our powerful software and tuning suite provides an edge that our competitor's can't touch.

Cheers!

I can confirm the support from M. Even after hours they were happy to help and answer my questions!

Hi Charles -

I soon plan to get your tune, and appreciate the American theme 🇺🇸….but given how expensive Porsche’s are, the bottom line for me, and I’m sure most of us is - you offer a superior and dependable product…dependability that won’t cause engine damage, etc to our 6-figure toy. For me, at least, everything else, including price, is secondary.

Cheers!

Yup- I really just want someone to make a copy of a stock GTS engine/pdk tune and paste it on my ECU…no drama, 10 second car, factory tune, open the exhaust valves up…that’s it. Sign me up.

^ The GTS is way underpowered compared to M Engineering’s tune so, you probably are going to want to look elsewhere if you only want 30 more HP
