There is always room for a little more perfection. We know the cars are detuned, based off of some dynos, as you can see the torque is artificially cut..

I did the M-engineering tune on my C4S two weeks ago. Very easy to do. Great customer support. I wanted a bit more on the low end torque and I am very happy with the results. Im not into drag racing. I just wanted the car to accelerate a bit fast and maintain gears without the need to always want to upshift. Now I have to say that its takes a few drives for the car to relearn your driving habits and for you to also adjust to the new hp/ torque curves.

Since down here there is always someone who want to race you on the freeway, an extra 140 hp does come useful just to give them a little taste so they leave you alone.

No they don't. Unless you're talking about a Turbo S.

A $150k to $220k car that does an 11 second or less quarter-mile and a 190+ mph top speed meet my definition. What performance are these cars lacking that has them falling short? Does the top speed have to cross the magical 200 mph threshold? Does it have to break the ten-second 1/4 mile and if so,do you consider a Tesla Model S Plaid a hyper car?

I'm not debating, but I would like to understand when enough is enough.

To me there is quick..."crazy" quick...and "scary" quick. Fast is not my goal for the streets.

I would put my stage 2 TT as traversing between the last 2 categories. Perhaps some summer tires and drive pavement might help.

Pick your poison.

You make a good point and probably right.

But some just want more. A good tune takes you to stupid(fast) level

For me, less than 400 whp is not supercar territory. Traps in the low 20's is not supercar territory. Getting pulled by 15 year old corvettes on the road course straights is not supercar. McLaren 720s is supercar. But I don't want or expect supercar performance. Just a little more!
Plus, I guess it depends where you're coming from. If this is the fastest car you've owned then it seems pretty fast. But coming from a car that traps +/-130, it seems slow.
