Just to throw in my experience...I have Autel MaxiCOM MK 808S...I use it on my 992 and Audi Q5...works on both just fine...I use it to remove service reminder and oil change reminder after every time I do my oil change and other service..I record what I do and keep receipts...the Autel pays for itself the first time you use it rather than paying the stealership to hook up their device and push the same button.

It seems like there is a sizeable differences in features between the MX808 (MaxiCHK), MK808 (MaxiCOM), and MP808 (MaxiPRO)

The MX is the cheapest at ~$379 and I believe can do oil and service interval resets for the new models like 992’s.

What’s the difference between the MK and the MX?

The MP can apparently do all of the above AND pull over rev reports which is pretty awesome. More expensive at ~$675 and the annual goes from $80-100/yr on the MX/MK to almost $300/yr on the MP.

If you have the MK808S I posted this yesterday. You may find it of interest depending on how involved you get using this Scan Toll to service your 992.
