Default Resetting Oil Change Reminder (after changing oil of course)

Does anyone know if iCarsoft or anything similar supports the 992 yet? I know it's still a relatively new model, but it's been a year now.

The same question has been asked in the Cayenne forum and Autel MX808 may be your answer. See https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...ification.html

Thanks. Not super familiar with the various platforms/compatibility yet - but that seems to be a good sign.

Launch x431 will most likely reset the SRI as well.

Will reach out. Autel confirmed they don't have 992 support yet.

Loads of functions work and are described in the Macan, Cayenne etc forums. So yes I've used it, it works, it's not as complete obviously as PIWIS but for certain things it's more straight forward than PIWIS. You'll just have to play around with it or read the dozens and dozens of entries.

Same here, ghosted by Launch. Emailed them multiple times, no reply. I'm not willing to take the risk without a verification that their product works.

I haven't fully done any resets (like new battery etc.) but got to the point where the next step would have been enter serial number, type etc. SRI is fairly straight forward. Don't know what ALL fault codes means. It reads DTCs. I have a two year old Launch x431 Mini Pro and the last software update on my purchase warranty included the 992. HTH

The Launch X431 Pros Mini sells for ~USD800, which seems like an exorbitant amount to spend just to turn off a service reminder indicator.

Surely there will be less expensive options in the future---at least I hope so.

If that's all you're doing I fully agree, but then again if that is all you're doing with PIWIS it's also ridiculous. Just find someone who has one and offer a case of beer
