992 Carrera T Club
Ha, he may be a subscriber to my Utube channel. A dude with a Red T from Long Island reached out to me to chat about stuff. If so, I’ll try to get him on this thread and conversate (yes, that’s my own word…I got 99 percentile on GMAT…know how to spell, etc.)

I can’t believe it but my T is finally on its way!!! Why a vehicle with only 2 options on it took so long is beyond me, but my wife and I are very excited that we will be cruising around in the T shortly. Also getting a bit paranoid about purchasing a vehicle at this price point as I am nowhere near as financially secure as many here are.. I guess this is the time in my life for questionable financial decisions and just enjoy owning a special car and being able to share these times with my lovely and extremely supportive wife. I will have to post a few pics when it arrives and again, thank you to all of the fantastic individuals who helped me at the beginning of this process. This is my first brand new Porsche and only my second, with the other being a long gone 1994 968 cab.. This truly is a great place with so many wonderful people United in their love for Porsche. Wishing everyone here a fantastic day and great driving weather! 👍🏻

Edition “Porsche Museum”😎
Well, another reason for a new trip to the museum.
First one was almost 20 years ago, when it was just a small hall inside the factory.
Edit: this is the 2021 edition, there are also 2013 and 2014 ones, all around 3-500€🤭.
They will reprint a 2023 edition, to be released at the end of October, revised and brought up to date (2023). Preordered that one.

Thank you and thank you all for the well wishes and congratulations! It is admittedly an exciting time and it seems like this vehicle is already brightening the spirits of my loved ones. To answer your question, the only options I went with are the Exclusive Wheels and the silver exhaust tips. I think both of those options will look good together against Guards Red. I know the low option count is in line with the Ethos, but it is also in line with what the maximum amount of what I wanted to pay!

Thats you in that video dancing in the background - right?
I always got the impression that you were some celebrity just trying to go under the radar, but now we’ve sussed you out buddy.
What is your stage name??
So, based on your changes, you now have somewhat more "bite" by turn in (front camber), better high speed stability (rear toe in) and the steering feel improved (together with the front camber change and the correction for the front right toe in) when you changed the caster angle for the right front wheel. Follow closely your front tires wear and if it's ok, don't change anything.

It actually sounds a lot better, at least without the backseats. Have no idea how much they influence the sound. Today drove with a friend who had only driven a 992 S and he was extremely surprised by the big sound difference.
Thanks for your helpful words. A lot to understand and learn here for me. But the stability at high speeds was not much worse as I expected (like you said). Did a run today finally. 191mph. Had some room left. Will probably do around 310-311km/h I think. So my break-in method can be called succesfull right? Engine really feels amazing.

I have the rear seats and I don’t think they reduce of muffle anything. I constantly discover towards the end of my drives that I again forgot to turn on the radio or play music from the usb stick😅🤭. The sound inside is that good! And I have the Burmester🤦♂️🤷♂️
You still have 500 rpm until max power, so yeah, there is some room left🤙🏻😜
And I should be ashamed, living near so many unrestricted sections of autobahn and only got to 250-260 km/h until now😌😋

A cheap (and slightly less accurate option) would be a GPS speed app on your smartphone. I think the most I hit on the Autobahn was 269kph in a 2019 Targa 4 GTS. It only had 600 km on the odometer--I guess Porsche doesn't care to advise any break-in method for its rentals through Porsche Drive.
