Good morning everyone. It sure is fun waking up every morning and seeing so many wonderful posts from across the pond and here in the States. My python green T has been at port since May 22 and on the app says that it will leave port on the 23rd of May. Its been my experience so far that the app when it updates is not in real time and usually it has moved onto the next stage for at least a few days before I get notice of the next status change. Most it seams have gotten an update or delay of a month at Emden when it has been delayed at port. I have been very busy and I am ok with the wait just curious if anyone has experienced what I have been where the app still hasn't even given me a new date from the 5/23 "your car will be shipped." So its still showing the same states of that date even though its been a solid two weeks. My guess is that its on a ship already.

Unfortunately for you, I think you are still in Emden. I can't recall someone's car getting on a ship and the app not updating. But the one shred of hope you have is that your date wasn't pushed out to late June like so many others have seen - including me before it then updated with a ship date of 5/25. The easiest thing to do is call/text your SA and ask them.

I talked to my salesman last week and he said Porsche often times makes their update on Friday. I agree it seams that theirs is more accurate and that makes sense. He expressed his frustration that they should be at least in sync with themselves. I will be pleased if I get this thing in July sometime that would be a huge win for me. Maybe I can elicit some help here. I have too many cars, having a small collection is a royal pain in the *** to be honest. I would like to sell at least one car maybe two. The dilemma is selling the second car what it should be. I will be listing a rare euro 86 928 with 24K miles probably on BAT but the real question is do I sell my speed yellow 993 or my 1990 928 GT. I really like the 928 and the 993 but if I sell the 928 I will be not have a 928 more. I have a 74 Carrera and a 912 soft window targa so I would still have older 911's so to speak. My wife drives a 2016 GTS and of course will have the T. I feel like the T is a more modern 993 so leaning towards selling the 993. Any thoughts on which of the two I should sell. Sorry if this question shouldn't be allowed but I have gotten to know a few of you and respect your opinions.

Not sure? Is there a setting somewhere? Sometimes when I put my fingers underneath the handle it pops out but other times I'm standing there pulling on the handle and it still won't unlock. Key's in my pocket 6" away.

I didn't expect the side mirrors to automatically unfold when I approach the car - did you have to program it to get it to do that (I'm guessing not)? And if not, I wonder if it can be programmed not to do that? This behavior would be a major irritant for me, as I need the power folding side mirrors to stay folded until I back out of my garage...

plus for resale I would think that this unique signature decal would be a sought after standard feature.
Silly not to get the side decal that I'm one million percent sure I don't want? I beg to differ. And surely you must be joking about the side decal having any effect on resale price and/or desirability (that said, I care about neither).

I know the guy who does something like 80% of the vinyl decal work in KC. If I want the side decal, I’m sure he could make me one…

When you & I start to care about the impact to resale due to the missing decal, let me know and I’ll contact my buddy

@bobert75 Are you sure you don't want the decals? Reading between the lines you seem undecided. Give it a couple of weeks then decide. I wouldn't buy a second hand T without decals

I think if you fold them in while still driving (e.g. right before entering the garage), they should stay folded until you manually unfold them (e.g. after exiting the garage). If you fold them in after parking (engine off, holding hand on handle or holding lock button on remote), they pop out automatically when you start the car.

My car is sitting in Leipzig, but the above is how my Macan's folding mirrors work. I would recommend testing this outside your garage to be sure it does what you want when you want.

I regret selling my 993s and if I had one today, it would be a dead man's car. Especially a Speed Yellow. I love 928s but they will never be in the same universe as the 993. Keep both if you can. Sell the 928 if you must sell something.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the app, I've had my car for over a week now and the app says it's still at port.

2023 LE MANS 24HR
Right fellas, we need to get behind the ‘Iron Dames’ all ladies (incl the pit crew!) ruby star 911 in tomorrow’s race.
They could make history !!

I’d put money on Porsche to win both the hyper car and GT categories even though they aren’t on pole.
