I might get flamed for this but am I the only one that find the GT3 RS, um, rather unattractive? I have zero doubt it's absurdly capable but it's... ugly. If I had the funds - and VIP status that would enable me to secure a GT allocation - I'd rather have a GT4 RS as a track toy, as it's smaller and much better looking. And, yea, even for a track toy I wouldn't mind it looking good.

Congrats @toph4242 that looks like one hell of an experience! Did you get to take your car on that track?
Sorry to everyone that I haven't replied the last couple days... It has been a whirlwind of a trip so far!!! Leipzig - Nuremburg - Rothemburg - Munich so far and all have been incredible places + driving roads. Just left Germany today and am about half way to Stelvio Pass where we have stopped for the night. Some incredible alpine roads, and beautiful green countryside. Almost no snow in the mountains and very warm up here, which was somewhat unexpected, but very welcome on this leg of the trip.
As for the track, we got about 90min on track with just about any car we could imagine to chose from! They didnt allow you to bring your car on, but they literally had a "parking lot" full of anything from Carrera S to GTS to Targa 4S, GT3, GT3 touring, GT3RS, GT4 etc etc etc. My instructor turned me down when I said the GT3RS all day lol, but he did give me time in both a GTS and brand new GT3!! And we did get a little seat time in the RS.
Incredible day!

My 1 week review:
I've had the car for a week now and can say it fulfills my expectations. The engine is smooth, does not feel like a Turbo at all, no lag if I push it that I notice and good torque at low RPMs. If I'm really aggressive with the throttle and upshifts, it is a fast car. I don't think I would need much more power with a MT as the limiting step is my reflexes. The car feels small, I think the RWS helps with this, I do notice the light front end when I power on on-ramps, and the steering is very nimble. I do notice some bounce on the highway over bumps/ expansion joints etc. The suspension may need to be broken in a bit more or I may need to drive more in Sports plus, I will experiment. Not to rub it in for those with the base but the Burmester is great, excellent sound and allows me to hear enough of the engine but drowns out tire noise, etc. I always drive with music on. So all in all a great car for the road. Now if I wanted a PDK, I would have gotten a GTS, and if I wanted a track toy, I would have gotten a GT3 PDK. But I love the MT because it is just so much more involving, a dying art, so as a fun car in the city it hits all the boxes. Some down sides are the fit and finish. The dash is not perfectly aligned with the front glass, one side is slightly higher than the other, all within tolerances I am sure but then I can be a bit of a perfectionist. I do sometimes miss the drama of some of my exotics but this is a much more stress free vehicle. I don't worry where I park, worry about speed bumps or getting too much attention, although the Python Green has gotten some stares and photos, if it was a more serious color like black or GT silver I think it would very much fly under the radar. And one more thing, have not had any issues with needing the front lift, ground clearance for a sports car is excellent, even with PASM.

That is F*&$'ing awesome! I was planning on catching at least 10 hours of it anyway, but that's extra special. And yeah. Pole is a little less important over 24 hours. It more comes down to keeping your car running smoothly with minimal downtime.
Do you think these ladies get too much attention from the ladies, too? Like your own difficulties driving your T around?

Amen to that. A relatively recent example of that was 2017 when, despite being out for a massive rebuild, Porsche won because all 6 LMP1 cars had major issues.

My car didn't come with the center console storage bin fitted for manual transmission. If someone has it, can you take a photo of the stamped/stickered part number? It's probably on the bottom, or inside the bin. Apparently no one knows the part number and it gets mistaken for the center console tray (the part under the cup holder).

Door handles
Door Handles: howare you all handling the the door handle unlocking situation? I have had the automatic extension of the door handles switched off for my first 1,000 miles but my door handles rarely unlock when I touch under the the handle. Very often I have to push the button on the key fob. Anyone else having trouble with unlocking their car?
