I rather have the manual S with the extra HP and Torque. The weight savings can't compensate for the extra torque and HP of the S.

would be a very fun car. Not sure much else in/around that price range would match what you would get here. Certainly there will be plenty of quicker cars in that range but the all around package here would make for a killer good time.
My only problem would be that I think at that point, especially going 2 seater with no back seat, I'd rather a 718 sypder or GT4 as a driver focused toy car... so the only car that I can think of that competes with this for me, is another Porsche
So for me I'm either going spyder or optioning up a 911 to be more of a luxury sports/gt with a bit more power so the T is not a car for me personally but I'm glad it exists

Does the “T” have it’s own specific allocation? I have a C2 allocation that can’t just be changed to a C2S (or C4), winter how the “T” works?

As far as I can tell, US pricing has not been released yet. However, comparing 992 base to S in Germany vs the T's pricing there we can tell that the T is going to be around $117k starting MSRP.
Since you can option an S with all of the things that come standard in the T I made an S-in-T clothing: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PPVXSAL7
The total for the S-in-T clothing was 130k vs. the supposed 117k T starting price. If you go for the T you end up saving 13k (10%). If you don't care about the more powerful engine & bigger brakes found in the S & also like the T standard equipment then the T seems to be a smokin' deal. Could be a big if for some though.
Interestingly, what you can't option on the S is the reduced sound deadening (probably similar in scope to the GTS) & the rear seat removal. However everything else can be optioned in on the S!

Porsche says that the 2023 911 Carrera T will hit U.S. dealers by Spring of 2023 with an MSRP of $118,050—a $10,500 premium over the base Carrera ($107,550) and $6,400 less than the Carrera S ($124,450), and arguably the sweet spot of price and performance of the 992 generation.

Congrats to those waiting for it! I was dead wrong and I hope we see them sooner than later in the U.S. driven as intended. Nothing that will drive me to trade in the 991.2T but it looks like Porsche stayed as close as they could to the previous. Weight looks much better than I expected too!

From the press release & reading between the lines it seems that the rear seats are removed as standard, hence the 3240 lbs curb weight. Curious if they will allow people to option those back in. I am guessing probably?
