If there is any race at the Glen you MUST see it's the 6 Hours at the Glen IMSA race at the end of June. https://www.theglen.com/events/2023-...s-of-the-glen/

+1 made some great friends through 25 years of PCA membership mostly through HPDE and club racing.

Wow, that was a mouthful! Appreciate the lengthy feedback. So far 2 for 2 thumbs up. Great to hear. Just been working long hours since working in Manhattan. Thanks to Covid situation (I don’t mean Covid), flex work schedule now. Looking forward to getting back into local car community!

I'm 6049, just a few cars behind you. I just got my production images. Should be done around the same time.

@arrivederci, we are python production line buddies! 6053 here, with the same 4/28 and 5/4 dates. Got my paint shop photo this morning.

Mine is due early July. Spec here:
https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PR77TYF8

I'm having a spec moment.... And it's driving me mad. I'm going for lightweight (aside from backseats that I need for kids) and classic. I live in the UK and black works for me, I'm a big fan of the ED wheels, but as this will be my first from factory 911 (had 3 used ones) am I missing the opportunity to go for a bit of colour.

I always go black or silver, but love Gentian Blue. Will it work on this build and these wheels? Or do I need a build/ style amend to accommodate it and then my build ethos has changed.

Am I overthinking, certainly. Is it personal choice... Yep. I just can't make my mind up and the clock is ticking.

Would love this groups opinion

Thank you!
Looks bloody lovely to me. Black with silver wheels is classy. Only thing I would add (and this is very much a personal choice) is the race tex headlining and visors. With a steel sunroof if you opt for race tex you also get it on the opening panel and it looks fab. Totally get for some a total waste of money though. As everyone says, go with what you want and not what you think everyone else will like.

You guys are killing me with these pictures. I’m VIN 6067 with production start of 4/28 and completion of 5/5. Still no pictures though. I keep F5’ing it and holding my breath while it loads.

Very jealous of your Michelin's. I got Pirelli

Any initial thoughts on the Pirelli's from anyone who got them? I realise most are still breaking in.

Update on ownership: I fully expected to make some compromises with the purchase of this car, namely more noise and less comfort. This is not the case at all, I find the cockpit to be very easy to have a conversation in.

Anyone with Burmester - tell us your impressions with Sirius, Apple Car Play, etc. Also, what ports for music sources does the T have - SD card, micro SD, USB-A, USB-C?

Thank you! That's what I was hoping, i'm sure i'll see it in person and think 'I nailed that spec', but just getting the usual post spec freeze doubts! I'm basically easily influenced when it comes to these cars! I know what I don't like, but equally when I see a well put together spec I start thinking, hang on, maybe..... So I blame these brilliant pictures that keep dropping in.

Great advice on the roof lining, i'm probably at my cost ceiling, so it would mean losing the Bose for example. Good for for thought!

I had my paint shop photo when I first woke up. Then refreshed on my computer to get a closer look at details and saw the body shop photo was now there. I'd say your body shop photo is coming soon! F5 F5 F5

No aero. No SD. No CF roof. Very basic pure (lol) build.
