I am vin# 6093 so it is now in production started on 5/2 and ends on 5/10. How is it that some of you all are getting more detailed info on your cars. I think I remember being a way that we can go behind the closed doors to speak and get more info on our cars. Anyone have a link to that post?

Interesting. Last montage vid has almost 400 views on utube now. Like 100 views per day. Maybe potential T buyers looking for real life examples? Ha, didn’t realize I was providing community service and Porsha should pay me for helping them sell more Ts.
RList T crew….ready for the next one?
Seeing cleaner uploads. Don’t need to upload a lot…just few clean ones. I’m waiting for @AdamIsAdam to post a few epic pics with clean backdrop….when ready. Don’t let @tourenwagen outdo u! I could make posters out of his few shots!

@Pivot
I’m still at 4/5 but my SE has told me it’s been in Sheerness since the 27th just waiting for a transporter to get it to them. Hopefully yours is this side too.

I hope so too… the SE tells me that shipping records are captured by some poor soul after the fact!

To those with PPF experience on the 992, had these questions:
- can rear bumper edges be wrapped easily? was told popping the lights is no longer easy;
- door sill/ jamb coverage possible on the plotter with one piece from rear quarter?
- anyone ever double layer on a lighter color paint, are the optics that bad?
- are skirts being loosened to hide the lower edge?

After 9 weeks of delay at the storage facility in France, I'm now on the Supreme Ace! Scheduled to arrive in Denver end of this month. Can't wait to join those of you who have already taken delivery, and start getting some T-Time under my belt!

We have a few VINs here that are very close with very close confirmed completion dates. It will be interesting to see how things progress to Emden and then to our respective ports of entry. I’m headed for Houston, then ultimately to Colorado Springs. No idea on schedules for ships headed to Houston…
6050, Emden on 5/10, water on 5/11, Houston on 6/3, and CO Springs on 6/8
I know these are optimistic at best and rough estimates but I did have manufacturing complete early and I received all 4 pics on a really timely basis. Not sure if anyone has posted this but I found it interesting to look at the time stamps in the photo metadata. After it finished paint, it went through the entire production line in one day - Tuesday. Time stamps on my pics are:
Paint - 5/2, 5:50 am
Body - 5/2, 12:02 pm
Assembly - 5/2, 4:07 pm
Complete - 5/2, 5:15 pm
If it isn't obvious, I'm a data, process, tech, etc guy. I'm totally excited to get my car. But at the same time I am enjoying this experience while looking at the tech Porsche is using to deliver this experience, understand what you all think of the TYD process, and wanting to talk to their CIO about their future plans lol.

My TYD is showing one day earlier to Emden (5/9) and on the water (5/10) for some reason, but I take those with a healthy grain of salt.
Also, for those of us who are into photography, it's fun seeing what camera/lenses/settings they are using. Canon 1D X Mk IIs with mostly the 24-105 f/4 glass (Is and IIs) but using the 16-35 f/4 to get a nice wide angle on the bodywork shot. Nice gear, a bit old but it's not like they stuck something cheap up there. They're using different metering and exposure compensation settings to try and fight the awful lighting conditions, at least they're trying...

I'm keeping both cars... for now. I'll let you know how the different cars each handle. This is the world's most expensive test drive, at least for me. I had a 996 and really didn't like how it drove, particularly the steering and also how the car sort of waffled over uneven surfaces. The cayman is incredible. I love it! But alas, the lure of the 911 would not relax its grasp, so when I had an opportunity for the T I jumped on it. Long term plans? I dunno.
