Looks amazing with that factory "undelete delete" side decal too! Thanks for the recap.

Agreed. IMO the T sounds better!

I had a manual 500-ish HP 991.2T and @wilmaya still has his today. Incredibly fun with that extra power, and feels plenty fast for street driving. The plan has always been to tune this 992T to around the same number

@neurodoc123 It should show up on your TYD page in the area that lists the model and specs. It showed up for me a week before production is scheduled to start (when it went from status V210 to V250.
That's encouraging to hear! I still don't have yes or no on a possible Leipzig delivery in October and my build should start Friday. I have all the same motivations as you (along with sacrificing a summer and fall of driving) in securing ED.
My car finished production back on 3/13 and I still have just under 4 months left before Leipzig delivery on 8/22. I figure I'll be lucky to have the car on US soil by Halloween. I sacrificed over 5 months of [US] driving for 16 days in Europe, but for me it was an easy decision. I have the rest of my life to drive it around the US. This is my first Porsche and I was desperate to do European Delivery as it might be my last. I got my Leipzig delivery date on 3/13 - the day my car finished production (I had tried to get a July ED date back in Feb but no dice!). If the August ED dates at Leipzig had been released one day later I'd probably be picking my car up at my dealer in another week or so. I had lost hope for European Delivery while my car was in production but while I may have lost the tire lottery, I won the Leipzig delivery lottery. ![burnout](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/burnout.gif)

I've put nearly 600 miles on my T in the last 3 days and haven't come close to scraping the front end (SD Front Fascia). I pulled in to the steepest local spot today, carefully and on an angle and not so much as a light scrape. The front end is actually higher on the T than it was on my BMW 650 GC so I'm used to driving with a low front end.

I do see it now.

Appreciate the comments and all the vids @ECNJ !
Hopefully I'll have some dry shots soon as the mods begin... She's getting PPF'd right now.
One more moist shot for ya!![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I agree! I have gone from Carrera 4 GTS into my T and being completely honest I can hardly tell for everything day to day! I’m still behaving in the main though, but I very much doubt my opinion will change! I’m 100% certain that MT is a country mile more fun though; don’t get me wrong I loved my PDK but it was all just a bit too lazy and I feel like I have enhanced my enjoyment by reverting to MT.
I mostly agree, PDK and MT is a different experience, and amplified by 65 PS is for me vastly different experience.
We all have a different point of reference. For me, a starting point is a Boxster with MT and 300 PS on tap… it is an awesome car, but the cabin is too small for me, the Mrs and two small German shredders (aka. Schnauzers).
The 992 Carrera T with 7MT feels faster and more technical (difficult) on the track than mid-engined Boxster. I really like it and I am pleased with my selection.
The 992 Carrera S with 7MT feels wickedly fast on the track, in comparison to my very well behaved Boxster. If I bought C2S I would probably go PDK, even though as Shane noted it feels a little lazy, as it is optimised for efficiency and economy.
I am delighted with the 992 T, and I don’t need nor want 500PS conversion, but the question was how does T compare with an S, and having driven both, those are my observations.

Well, it depends what you drive on daily basis.
992 T feels modestly more powerful than my Boxster… I guess their respective power to weight ratio is closer.
992 S feels vastly more powerful than my Boxster… and by extrapolation to 992 T.
3 months is not an issue, if my daily driving baseline is the same.
I still believe that 992 T is an awesome car, but the question was how they compare and the power diff needs to be acknowledged. I don’t personally need it, today, but I can see I will be drawn towards it in 2 years time :-)

But I'll take up your suggestion of using a heat gun or hairdryer to see if that works on the PPF
