Someday (hopefully sooner than later) I’ll be buying my first Porsche. Almost pulled trigger on a used air cooled 911 turbo back in the day, but passed on it since I unanticipatedly got accepted to Ivy grad school in NY leaving CA. Didn’t expect it because my BS GPA was horrible. Ha, I still think about that 911 turbo with whale wing on occasion. Drove amazing….experience permanently in memory bank. Hoping the T at least meets my expectations.
I’m thinking about joining Porsha Club America. Anyone have any experience with club in America or Europe? Any input is appreciated….good or bad.

I did a year of them on my S Cab and they're a decent tire. You'll get better mileage out of them, but the Michelins are noticeably quieter (because they're softer) and once warm will outperform the Pirelli's.

Hi all - first time poster but long time lurker, in fact I think I've read this entire thread. Thanks for all the insight and entertainment. I've enjoyed clicking through everyone's builds and seeing the TYD pictures that have started trickling in. I will be sure to return the favor and look forward to contributing as I can.
Joined the Porsche family two years ago with a Macan GTS (love it), and got on a waitlist for a C2S last July. I called my dealer the morning after they announced the T and swapped over. Got an allocation in December, but my dates are on the later end of the spectrum that I've seen posted on here. Locks 3/29, build complete 5/3, arrives at dealer 6/1. Not an "ethos" build, so apologies to the purists still waiting, but I think it's right for me: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PPIMWW32 I have small kids who are as excited about it as I am, so back seats a must. Haven't driven stick since high school, so I won't blame my wife for PDK. Can't wait for this summer!

hawt @tourenwagen stole pic for attention ......
To those with PPF experience on the 992, had these questions:
can rear bumper edges be wrapped easily? was told popping the lights is no longer easy;
door sill coverage possible on the plotter?
anyone ever double layer on a lighter color paint, are the optics that bad?

Very nice! But it's not a T, so that's good for me I do not know of another Python T Aero. And given that mine was one of the last orders in before Aero stop-order, I'm hoping mine is 1 of 1.

The S rear rotors are the same size as the guard: https://www.pearceanddale.co.uk/wp-c...06/MG_8009.jpg

Help....
Since discovering this brilliant thread it's been a constant source of inspiration for my build. I love the energy behind this amazing car.
Mine is due early July. Spec here:
https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PR77TYF8
I'm having a spec moment.... And it's driving me mad. I'm going for lightweight (aside from backseats that I need for kids) and classic. I live in the UK and black works for me, I'm a big fan of the ED wheels, but as this will be my first from factory 911 (had 3 used ones) am I missing the opportunity to go for a bit of colour.
I always go black or silver, but love Gentian Blue. Will it work on this build and these wheels? Or do I need a build/ style amend to accommodate it and then my build ethos has changed.
Am I overthinking, certainly. Is it personal choice... Yep. I just can't make my mind up and the clock is ticking.
Would love this groups opinion
Thank you!

Second, I ordered black and have been drooling over pics of Gentian Ts. It looks amazing with the Agate accents. Much better than in the configurator. There are several pictures of delivered cars in Gentian. Scroll back.
Good luck. you can't go wrong with either color. If I could go back, I'd be severely tempted to go Gentian.
