@Pivot I was invited to yesterday’s event at Silverstone (was it just for Guildford customers?) but I already had an invitation for Thurs next week so declined it (yes I must be bonkers!).
Today is the 2nd week’s anniversary of collecting my car but I’ve spent them below 4k revs, so can’t even experience the potential of the car on acceleration etc
I was expecting you, Misterr Bond!
I delayed my PEC twice in anticipation that they will eventually get the 992 T and no, it wasn’t for us only.
However, I anticipate some libations for 75 anniversary.
I see Porsche will have an event at Goodwood FOS. We should organise pre-party-party or something 😎
I probably won’t either unless caught suddenly driving in the mountains.
@tourenwagen speaking of rain. I hear up to 2 inches this weekend. Come on, I’m sure you’re not going out much. Use flashlight and take more pics from ur garage please, ha.

Yeah apparently this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed will be dedicated to Porsche.
Sadly I’ll be in Dubai, but should be around for the Revival Festival in Sept👍
A SAD ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Sad to report the first car on this forum to get scratched and it was all my own (damn stupid) work
Occurred while clumsily attempting to use my garden vac to blow the blossoms out of the front windscreen wiper well.
However, there may be a saving grace as I have PPF and with any luck it prevented the paintwork itself from being damaged??
It's left me depressed and down - I'm seeing a shrink tomorrow.
!!!WARNING!!! Look away now if pictures of injured newlyborns upset you!

Oi! Some say, it’s not yours until you scratch it.
We should setup a group therapy sessions for the heavily scarred 992 T owners.
Love the aero kit. Its funny how I had it configured with the aero kit when I put my name on the list at Byers. Once my name got called up I had heard that they put a stop order on the aero kit so I convinced my self that this wasn't what the T was about. It was a way of me dealing with the fact that I couldn't have it. It just looks so damn good with the aero kit.
So interesting that you traded in an S for a T. I was on the list for a GTS and S but I knew I couldn't get an allocation given I had never ordered one before. When the T was announced I quickly got on that list. I honestly would of chosen the T allocation over the S allocation because Its not about power for me its about the sound and emotion that the car delivers. You trading in an S for a T only confirms that there are many of us that want Porsche to build enthusiasts cars and not cars that just go 0-60 in 2 seconds. What is the fun in that!
Thanks for sharing you new car with us. Guards red looks amazing and I am surprised I haven't seen many people go for Carmen red.
I was offered both the T and S allocation and chose the T for that very reason.

Don't worry, the PPF surely saved the paint.
As @Pivot said, it's not your until you've scratched it.
With my previous new car, I managed to do that 1 hour after taking it home. Put a hammer into the rear bumper. The "impression" can be seen to this day, but luckily, only if you know where to look Win win...made it mine but also, I am the only one who knows about the mark
It was stunning vehicle, @timothymoffat
The PEC has a MT7 in GBM and I am told they also have Yellow PDK (but I have not seen it myself)
The MT7 derivative had:
* 18-ways seats in std cloth/leather upholstery
* Alcantara sport steering wheel
* Alcantara roof lining
* Standard radio
* Silver seatbelts
* Matrix headlights
* Spyder wheels
* Carbon roof
* Front axle lift
* Sport front bumper with body-colour lower lip forward
* Sport rear bumper
* all badges and stickers
and what I believe is standard and I really liked, Agate Gray lines on the rear air intake vertical grille!
Carmine, saw this today in Charlotte. Sold order, to one of the SA’s.
I went up there because I’m going nuts trying to decide on an exterior color. And I took this shot in a sea of gray (ice, arctic and GT) that might have sealed the deal….
