I only got 2 pics thru completion. Curious is yours just black or JBM? Seems yours is moving along quickly. Do you recall your 01 or purchase order confirmation date?
mine is black with porche logo in red.
purchase confirmation was 10/19/22, freeze date for 3/30/23

ok thanks. My freeze date was 2/16. Yours is definitely going faster.
BTW, my cousin is a neurosurgeon crazy about 911s and would probably buy black one. Can’t help wondering if you’re him. Assuming just a coincidence….I’m sure he would have let me know. I’m tempted to text him, ha.
I was interested in the leather column pieces, but was concerned about possible reflections of the stitching in the instrument cluster, so I passed on this for my build.
I have ordered all four of my Porsche new builds with the steering column covered in leather with deviated stitching. A silly option as no one but the owner will ever notice this extra leather and stitching. But I have never seen any reflections in the glass of the instrument panel - ever. No one ever notices this expensive option and even if you mention it to a passenger- they never say much - and I never tell them that what I paid to keep from hearing the gasp of disbelief.
I did not know this untill I got my car. I knew the Carrera S had bigger brakes. But the bigger guard is pretty ugly if you ask me. Not that it matters much. Just could be a lot nicer. Also something that cannot be unseen
you can spray-paint it black and you will forget it exists :-)
Here is a chalk 992 T from Porsche Eindhoven with slate grey standard interior. Cannot remember if already posted. Currently 12 new T’s for sale at dealers in the Netherlands.
That last round of advice on my final build anxiety was so helpful, thank you. My black build is the go to still, but i've got my secondary build that i'm starting to really like.... However black hides, well everything. I feel like i've opened up a can of worms on this second build: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRKRU6M8
The Sport design conundrum... a point of much rennlist debate over the years I know. However I feel it's even more nuanced on the Carrera T.
+ My thoughts (just mine)
- Full looks lower and wider (front and sides) and more aggressive rear stance with the exhausts etc. Work for me 100% on a black car.
- However
- With lighter colours is the side line more natural without? Non side skirt owners, whats your view?
- I've noticed a few builds with front sport design and no rear, is this because of the paint coloured gills?
- With the above in mind is the front sport design with side and rear an odd move? (as per this build)

Thanks collective build advisors!
For what it's worth I think your black car looks better. I don't think the ED sliver wheels work with crayon. Scroll up to see crayon with the standard (titanium) wheels and i think it looks good. Re SD I have gone with it on my car (GT Silver) but I'd say most seem not to have. I did not do the SD side skirts as I agree I think they work better on dark colours. If you are anywhere near London, Porsche Centre South London had a black T with SD package. May be a showroom car.
Things are definitely moving fast !! Now at stage 6 - released for transport.
Likely to get on a ship at Emden on 5/9
Yes moving fast. Got my last two pics (one last night, one this morning) and the complete date updated to 5/2 with release for transport scheduled for 5/3. Will have to wait and see if TYD updates with completed stages (check marks). Mine also says leaving port 5/10.
TYD shows manufacturing complete, and I got the rest of the photos, this morning. Metadata shows 10.5 hours between paint shop photo and elevator photo. Pirellis for those keeping track.
