992 Carrera T Club
#7591
I havent seen any real world pictures of the Carrera T package interior with lizard green. I love how you can get the steering wheel and shift boot with the deviated stitching but disapointed that it appears to not come that way with the T Package. I really like the cloth inserts on the T in lizard green it adds a bit on uniqueness to the T. Any real world pictures of the interior would be great once somebody takes delivery of one. Thanks in advance. I have a python green/lizard green Carrera T package coming in June here in Columbus, Ohio.

992 Carrera T on PZeros and manual gearbox - 1:55:7
718 Cayman GT4 on Cup2 and manual gearbox - 1:55:0
At the end of the long "straight", the GT4 was 6 km/h quicker (252 vs 246 km/h) but despite braking later, it was later at the apex (around 0.3s).
After that, using the advantage of the Cup2, it managed to go from 0.3 behind to 0.7 in front, gaining 1s on the "twistier" part of the track. I can live with that Would be interesting what kind of time a Carrera T on Cup2 can achieve (or one on the PZero but with PDK).
Also, the Cayman GTS 4.0 manual, on PZero, could only manage 1:56:9.
What happens to the "press cars"? Usually two-three are kept by the manufacturer and the rest are sold. Imagine being able to get a 992 T with the carbon light seats and the Bose sound system. Or the one in that nice shade of blue, even if does not have the light seats.

That looks awesome. I went into Mag and someone just got the first allocation the day before I went in. I think this was January. I put my deposit down that day and also was second in line at Byers. I decided to cancel my deposit with Mag because they don't seam to get many cars. I received a call from Byers on March 1st that I received the next slot. I have been on cloud nine since then. I think that the person before me at Mag specced a python green like mine so I am inclined to think that yours is coming in at Byers. I would totally love to see yours when it comes in. I added race tex steering wheel/shifter boot, headliner, and center arm rest with PORSCHE lettering on it. I have the glass sunroof and 18 way sport seats. I had a highly optioned 991.1 c4s so I wanted something that wasn't a step down in luxury which goes against the concept of the T but who cares! I couldn't seam to find an S or GTS allocation so the T was the way to go and honestly I am pretty darn excited about it. This base 992 motor I think is every bit as fast as my 991.1 and that was more than enough power for the street. I have mostly older Porsches and find that the modern sports cars are way to fast for the street. I prefer to wind out the gears like I do with my 993. I live in Upper Arlington, maybe we can grab a beer sometime and talk T's. I am in the porsche club and maybe we can see each other at the next event.
Cheers!
Cheers!

I got my allocation from Byers on Jan 3rd and put down my deposit the same day. Steven Serrano my SA has been a pleasure to work with, He’s a great guy. I live in WV so I will be taking possession in early May and driving it home the 120 miles. My brother lives in Clintonville near the park of roses. I’ll probably go up the night before and have a beer with him.

Confirmed that the T package does not include steering or boot. It's why I skipped the T package and went with full leather + stitching in deviated color.

My Python with Lizard T interior goes into production Tuesday and should arrive in NY late April. Pics, vids and a complete documentary will follow shortly thereafter! LOL

Not bad.

I'm impressed that my Cayman GTS4.0 is only 1 second behind them. Not bad for a non-GT car (1.9 secs behind the GT4 on Cups). I hate my PZeros and can't wait to replace them with Michelins. They are definitely squirmy when hot and pushed.

Lizard green standard T interior with expected delivery 4/15 here. Although I'll believe that date when I see it. Also not sure if it's been confirmed whether the shifter boot is green stitching or not. It clearly states its green stitching on the config.
- Gear lever and gear lever boot (manual transmission only)

Interestingly on the same track and on the same tyres as the T, a 911 Carrera 4 GTS PDK only managed to go 2 seconds quicker.
