What a dream to finally see some cars getting delivered!! The guards red is my favorite of course. So good to finally see it like this. That color suits the car beautifully. Nice to see you have the carbon roof and Sport Design package and the red stitching and leather interior parts and the exterior color on the inside. Same car but totally different look than mine. I just love all the different possibilities from Porsche.
I had the same issue. Mine was scheduled for 24 February and moved to 14 March. Yesterday got the call that it went to 4 April
It has to do with some parts. I am thinking the Race Tex parts are missing. Do you have them as well?
What Race Tex parts do you have? I just have steering wheel an armrest and my complete date is tomorrow so I'll see if I get bumped.
Colt_45 I had almost exactly the same thing: build started 3/6, received all three pictures with a completion date indicated as 3/14. Then on 3/15 the completion date changed to 4/5 and my dealer date has been moved from 3/31, then to 4/14, and now to 5/4.

No Race Tex in my build. Only options were manual, rear seat add, 4 way seat, LCA, Surround View, and larger tank.

hey, at least we’re not alone. It’s a few of us now.
Dropped off the elevator? Most likely it was completed with a missing component and logistics says it will take a month to get in stock. It has become all too common in the auto industry. When my G-Wagon was delayed, they had to move one of the modules from car to car to move them onto the ship and into the vpc to sit and wait for the devices to arrive.
Thats the best I can come up with. They forgot a part or a part failed testing and they only have enough to fulfill current orders. Although seeing a few people having my problem now, I’m not as confident in the “why”.

Fun times we’re living through!
My car has been "Complete" Since March 9th, but I haven't received any update since, and still only have my first 2 photos... I am starting to think that I also am going to see a "delay" of some sort to my car as soon as my TYD catches up with whatever is going on. Luckily they only need to ship mine to Leipzig and they have 2 months to do that before I show up... Fingers crossed im just being paranoid... trying to take what @Patriot said yesterday to heart and just enjoy the process!
Not that this helps for those with delays, but I'm still a few weeks out on my freeze date and none of the other dates have changed yet (delivery date still shows early June). So they haven't started pushing other delivery dates out...yet. I am eager for many of you to take delivery before my freeze hits so that I can more confidently finalize my build!
Correct me if I’m wrong but so far not one person on this thread has posted pics of their new T actually sitting on their drive or in their garage..right?
So even though my collection is delayed a week till next Thursday, I might still be the first and therefore it’ll be me collecting the $50 that each of you (probably unknowingly) committed to when you joined this thread👍👍

I got mine and did already more than 500 km on it.

I've previously shared some photos in another thread of my Carrera T that was delivered one week ago.
They are just some snapshots, since it was crappy weather during the weekend so the best I could do was a rinseless wash in the garage.
Nevertheless, I'm sharing them again here as I see most people have miss them.

My timeline is similar and I've only seen my TYD dates change by a couple of days or so. Currently, my freeze change date is 03/Apr and my projected delivery date is 09/Jun. Certainly does help to see these early deliveries since there weren't any physical cars for me to see when placing my order. So far though, no major changes to my build.

Roof lining, steering wheel, armrest, sun visors and the interior mirror panel.

Here it’s 5 April also. Not 4 April as I stated earlier.

Went through this with my new Bronco. Sometimes it was a chip for a certain system that was on backorder like the LCA or surround view. They build the car then it sits waiting for the chip.

Yeah but this seems to be what the Lock Date system is for. They confirm they can meet the inventory and then begin production.
But I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know enough about what it takes to build major manufactured products. It’s just an extra month or so, at least I hope!
