A WEEK?! I'd go out of my mind. Last year when my Cayman arrived, as the truck pulled up I got the call that it was there. I RACED over to the dealership to see the delivery of my new baby!
And mind you, I left my son in the DDS chair to do it! (Relax! It was just a cleaning. And he was 18 at the time and completely understood. Plus had his own car at the DDS for just such an emergency. Although the DDS office is walking distance from home )

Posting my obligatory paint shop photo that finally showed up after a week in production. Unfortunate news on my end as I was just laid off from my job in tech and may have to actually give up my car on delivery if something doesn't formulate before then. Murphy's law or something like that...

Very excited now! Thankfully the guys at my local dealership are fab managed to fit me in to have a quick look around. I could take delivery on Monday but we settled on Tuesday.

Wish I'd been more assertive with the wife and ordered red. Was forced to order 'boring' GT Silver...it was either that or divorce. GT Silver was cheaper
