We still can’t but love that guy for making all this effort !
He is a HERO and I bit my tongue on the exhaust button for this very reason haha

Someone posted the 992 T article from PCA a few days ago. This is a direct quote from it. Just quoting, not commenting.

"Rear-axle steering is available for an extra $2,090, and while I’m a big fan of this technology, I don’t think it’s crucial to the Carrera T experience. I’ve driven examples with and without the rear-steer setup, and while I might notice a disparity after driving the cars back-to-back, my two isolated test drives didn’t feel like radically different experiences. No matter how you slice it, the 911 Carrera T absolutely rips."

What has to be in the photo to recognize the mysterious button?

The second button from the left on the row. If it shows this exhaust button or a diamond button. The world is waiting.

I've said it 100 times and I'll say it again... I have no idea what the right or wrong choice is on RAS and I just wanted to try it this go around to see if it made track days better. Pleas please please go drive it yourself if you can!
When I first drove side by side the 718s and the 992s (no RAS) on track, I was surprised by the amount of speed the 718 would keep on turns, while the back of the 992 was struggling to follow the front axle. That experience pushed me to buy a 718 manual with a mech diff.
Last year I tested side by side a 718 GT4 and a 992 GT3 and I was astonished by the capability of the latter to keep ridiculous speed in corners. I know, the GT3 has a double wishbone suspension on the front and many other amenities compared to a standard 992. That experience has however changed my consideration for the 992 which was much more planted and efficient also because of the RAS. I won’t track my car so often but I like the feeling of a car which can offer to me the best of its mechanical capabilities and modern development. If I wanted a classic feeling of 911 I’d opt for a 993 S or a 997GT3. My 992T has a RAS.

Great post Spartakos. You exactly describe the situation where RAS is adding a lot of value. Will definitely make the car more planted and mid-engined.

hahaha ooops. Still am sure you will love it on track. You know that Ruby Adds Speed right?

I just can’t take someone very serious as a car journalist who is not noticing the big difference.

Until there is positive proof, current consensus is that you must order the optional silver exhausts tips or FAL to get the exhaust button on a T build, correct?

Correct... That is the consensus. Few hold outs on here are betting the other way. It all comes down to the first delivered Ts

Had an OMG moment.. as mentioned since, standard with heated seats. (and keyless go, two things that seemed ridiculous not to be standard in the past).

Oh dang, I must've missed this conversation. The T still comes with sport exhaust, but is the general idea that you don't get a physical button and would either need to enable VIA sport, sport+, individual modes or through the infotainment?

YES! That will look great. I have a friend with a white 997 GT3 with black stripes and then he added yellow pinstripes to match calipers and interior and MAN does that pop. I can pm pics if interested.

Yea, same here - my end date jumped out 5 days earlier this week, now showing start date still as 3/5 but end date now allegedly 3/15.
