Roof transport prep is a no-brainer.
DashCam prep also, BUT….
The wiring is designed to connect to a Porsche branded cam which is 1k.
However I have heard that it’s possible to splice the end of the cable to connect to other brands if you know what you’re doing!

Default New TYD and optional equipment

Has anyone else noticed an option not listed/missing under optional equipment in the new TYD?

The old TYD listed every option I selected even after my lock date of 2/13. My TYD updated to the new version earlier this week and the only option missing was the lizard green T interior package in leather.

Just wondering if anyone else experienced this? Or if I should reach out to my SA for confirmation.

Thanks

So far I see I need to look out for at least the freshly painted T bodies of @toph4242 , @tourenwagen and @Scott P on my 911 factory tour on the third. I visited the BMW museum in Munich yesterday and while it's nice and all, the Porsche museum is easier to navigate and prettier in my opinion. Might as well check out the Mercedes museum as well to round it out.

I'm hoping there are T's every step of the tour so that I can really see everything inside and out of our cars.

Are you in the UK then?
I wonder when the earliest UK arrival will be.
Mine hit V250 on the 14th Feb instead of 17th, and was planned to enter body shop on the 24th. Expected completion 3rd March with arrival at the dock on 17th March.
The problem I’m told is cars arriving at the dock have arrived at the dealership a matter of hours later or weeks later! Seems like pot luck.

Yes, I am in the UK.

On PistonHeads one guy is getting his 992 T in 2-3 weeks time... German hardware is being shipped :-)

Mine is only planned for May delivery... oh well new car for summer holidays!

Roof prep is where my old Porsche started to rust. I’ll never put a rack on this thing.

Click on the tab that says "All technical Data". The first section that appears is "Optional Equipment" and lists all of the boxes that you checked as well as all the standard equipment after that

Sorry if this has already been answered. I have never bought a new Porsche (few used). If I walk into a dealer in April to order a 911T (I like the Aerokit and other things). Is the wait 6 months? A year? Can’t get some options? Just curious.

Will likely depend on dealer and spec. I originally visited a dealer in early January and was told 12-18 months (likely MY24) as I was third on waitlist. About a month later they had an allocation open up and a grabbed it and now my build lock late March with projected delivery in early July.

This is exactly what I am experiencing. All of my other options are listed. Only the lizard green leather T interior package is missing under optional equipment.

Seems like the issue is tied to the lizard green leather package in particular. Time to panic!!
