It is a game worth playing and that is how you can get your Aero kit for your car installed or a spot for an ED even though in theory there are no openings left or your Panamera delivered at PECLA despite the official story that only 911’s can get a PECLA delivery.
This is how you also obtain cars at msrp - or just pay a large premium over msrp and that works too if you prefer not to build a relationship.
Well-written, and yes to all this. Buying a Porsche sports car is not like buying a mainstream CUV. I can't find the YouTube video that explained "the game", but this Jalopnik article also explains it well.
I am getting a 992 T at MSRP as a "consolation prize" because I had no chance of ordering a GT3 anywhere close to sticker despite 5 previous Porsches from the same dealer (all non-GT).
If anyone thinks this "game" is ridiculous, try ordering any new Ferrari or a steel Rolex!
Lol. you had me there for a sec... Lovee the color, love the aerokit, love the wheels, love the CF roof... Love the CF wheel in race tex and love the performance options... The rest, well...

If I choose ventilated/cool seat option do I lose the Race-Tex center?
Just to be clear. There is no Race-Tex center. That is only on the GTS. The T gets the Sport-Tex center. But I am sure you meant this.

If you get colored stitching on your steering wheel it does not matter whether it’s leather or Race-Tex. The stitching is the same.

Good post. But you will definitely notice the difference. You can say add it because it’s an option. You can also say leave it because it’s only adding more electronical stuff a purist driver will not need. Unless you specifically want that car to go on rails (like on the track). Then order it. I wanted a more free loose end and therefore hated RAS.
