Hmmm perhaps we should introduce wives?!
mine is probably more domineering than yours, she threatens never to go in any car I order if it draws attention - like a bright colour etc!
So my Macan was GT silver, my Cayenne was black, my Taycan GT silver and the T will be GT silver😞😞
Life is not fair

Anyone else doing PEC delivery? I’m doing PEC-LA, and will be getting the PPF through Porsche before delivery.

I'm not sure that method wouldn't work against the wife making the threat. STAY HOME! LOL

Im thinking of getting it done through the dealer but it’s double what other reputable companies charge

Mainly because typically an independent won’t just apply it to the factory paint, they will correct it first…

Paint correction is offered as well, as a separate package. I’ll do my due diligence and it’s always good to get other people’s experiences, good or bad. Right now I don’t know how it much will cost. I’m going for the basic PPF package that covers the entire front bumper, hood, front quarter panels, mirrors and the rear quarter panels. There’s a thread in the European Delivery sub forum that describes the packages with pictures.
The main reason why I’m interested in it is because I’ll be picking it up at PEC LA and eventually road-tripping back to Texas.
It is true it will delay delivery by up to 2-3 weeks but that’s not really a problem and I can wait.

I live in WA state and was thinking about driving back to WA. I reached out to Moe Mistry as suggested on this forum who is 30 mins away. He noted a number of customers flatbed the car from PECLA to his place. Alternatively I'm looking into painters tape or track tape.

Trying to finish the build by tomorrow on my T..
1. If I choose ventilated/cool seat option do I lose the Race-Tex center?
2. Color opinions….GT Silver vs Black?

Black is impossible to keep clean/avoid swirls unless fully wrapped and ceramic coated. If you plan on a full body wrap then personal preference. If you aren’t, 100% support the GT Silver build. What’s interior color?

ventilated sears are actually a big decision because you do lose the sport tex seat center, and you also lose the 911 logo stitched in the headrest. Personally I believe that the sport tex provide enough breathability that the ventilated seats are not worth it.

‘And my vote is GT Silver also…for the reasons you stated…some family members…wife and daughter-in-laws suggested black….
I want a fairly basic car…but are there any “must have” options you would recommend?
I’ve read a lot about RAS but since I’m not going to track this car I really can’t see how it really be worth 2K?
