You unplug / unbolt the RAS links and bolt in standard ones.

When I learned RAS was controversial I decided to look into what it would take to ditch it if i didn't like it.

Here is the RAS link for comparison:

I compared all the other part numbers from both configurations and they are all the same. You don't have to take my word for it though, you can use this site to check out all kinds of parts from different models/configurations.

I don’t suppose there is a fuse pull hack for the ultimate in back to back testing?

I consigned due to my unique situation living in Mexico. If I was in the US/Canada, I'd have zero issues selling privately or trading in if the tax credit was an option and the offer was respectable. Consignment is a way to get top dollar without the hassle of selling it yourself, so it's not a bad option if those are your priorities.

thanks for the explanation, very interesting. You just alleviated my largest debate on my in T. I went with RAS as I’ve spent some good track time with it and quite like how the 992 performs on the track, but kept wondering since I also value simplicity and lightness, I never even contemplated simply having it deleted if I ended up wanting more analog.

I have 18 ways and was swayed when I tried them on a Targa GTS demo I was leant for the weekend, I am quite small and found the extra adjustment made them fit me better and on longer runs being able to alter the lumbar support is really great, So my advice is keep them. Ventilated seats is a personal choice I have them because I Iike leather in my cars and that's the only way on a T too get them, however it's really your personal choice? The deviated stitching really notches up the interior feel and quality and with blue it will truly look great whether you have ventilated seats or not.
Maybe use the savings to upgrade the lights to PDLS + I have them and they are the best headlights I have ever had on a car.
So hope this helps, but it is your car so your personal preferences are what count and your hard earned cash not the salesman's !!!
Best Devon Racer.
The only thing in favour of Power Steering Plus is that your wife wants it, and it will get her onboard with project T, it is a bargain !
It doesn't effect steering once you are on the move.
We are driving to Goodwood at the weekend for the Member's Meeting.
Very exciting !

doesn't anyone know if the 992 Carrera T uses lightweight glass on the front windshield?

At what speed does our rear spoiler deploy? Is it 60 mph in sport & sport+ ? I ask only because most of our roads here are signed at 50 mph and as I do 60 +/- 1 or 2 miles o/u, does my spoiler keep going up and down as i cross over the 60 like ping pong ball? That would not only look silly but also wear out some parts. Not to mention alert the law that I’m enjoy my ride.

That doesn't say what speed the spoiler extends in Normal or Sport mode though?

Time to take someone for a ride and have them look back there for you to see.

I just checked, it doesn't say in the manual. I would imagine in normal mode it is 60-70 mph then at lower speed for sport and the 10 mph like it says above in Sport +.

Read somewhere online deploys at over 60 partial way and full open at 90, then closes at 54 after open. But also as Indicated in the manual, spt+ is open at over 10 and closing at mode change or shut down if still in spt+ ? I could be way off.
