I think the wing is the least of its worries? The shark tooth grill is atrocious. 😵💫. Price hike with limited supply, nothing new! Inside pretty much the same.

The top picture is the damage to my screen after it was hit by something thrown up by a lorry going through a roadworks diversion. The next two are after the repair, which cost £60.00. A replacement from OPC with an original lightweight glass was quoted at £1.800.00 + including third party sub-contractor fitting. In my view the repair is satisfactory as it is not in the direct line of view. I am very sorry for @cyclingismylife that's such bad luck to have two cracks appear. My car has done similar mileage to yours. Since the repair there has been no further deterioration of the damage i.e. further cracking. What has your dealer said about the cracks? I think @Wilder and @rscott have both had screen replacements due to cracking under warranty. I am inclined to leave mine as I can live with it and I would rather not disturb the original factory fitment with all the other gubbins that will need recalibrating. What sign of an official recall in the USA asking @Icegrill ? Also the last picture is of the Pilkington glass numbers this is UK made but only available from the Porsche factory not direct from Pilkington's in the UK. Please anyone assist ? are the US cars sent out with the same glass numbers ? Here I have checked and all T'd have this screen number whereas Carrera S or tubro's don't even though they all have Pilkington glass. On a separate thread @py0413 "Self melting windshield" that looks horrible, but my car is not suffering from this yet? However, the UK is rarely hot like the parts of the States. I will ask my OPC if the factory have changed the adhesive used and when did that come into effect as per production dates. My car was made at the very end of October 2023. VERY INTERESTED TO HEAR IF THERE IS AN OFFICIAL RECALL ON THE LIGHTWEIGHT GLASS FOR EITHER CRACKING OR ADHESIVE ISSSUES?
Thanks in advance and regrets and condolences to all suffering from such issues now or in the past.
Best Devon Racer.
I was cleaning my windshield yesterday and noticed a hairline crack in the passenger top corner arching from the roofline over to the A pillar. You can catch your fingernail on it from the inside. Then I noticed a similar crack on the driver’s side in the same area. This is on a 2024 that has 2,600 miles. What’s even more frustrating is I just spent $500 on windshield film to protect it so if I have it replaced I’m out $500. ☹️
Call your service manager asap and ask for an evaluation of the problem. I had 2 driver's side windows spontaneous crack and the dealership was more than accommodating to take care of the problems.

@Devon Racer I think you're better served by opening your "My Porsche" app, check your messages and go from there. Currently I have an open recall but there is no remedy available yet.

Great app, with much owner information. Not just for setting appointments, has car info and correspondence to and from Porsche. Alarm set ups, parking and valet, etc. Very useful app!
