Cool good shout on those thanks.

Rear seat is a must for me with a six year old son. I'd probably have gone with a Cayman GTS if I didn't need back seats, or at least buckets on the 992 T.

All this talk about the battery issues has me second guessing the RAS option now but I think I'll be disappointed if I skip it.

All T's have LiOn batteries.

At my local dealership today, I saw a very interesting T that clearly serves time as a track rat. Tires were as you would expect and visible mods included a brake upgrade all round.

Also included were a manual trans, typical track scars and rubber marks, as well as an anti 992 GT3RS spoiler

1. Pleasantly surprised with the Goodyears. I don't miss the MPS4S.
2. Little brakes are impressive. Don't feel you need more for spirited drives. Maybe fluid and pads for track. Maybe rotors for frequent track.
3. On par with GT4 and 7.2 GT3. Mainly because of torque and gearing advantage, especially on technical tracks and/or canyon roads.
4. Engine feels like an abnormally torquey NA engine and sings GT3 style above 6k
Only point where our experiences diverge is in high speed sweepers. My car is lowered about 20mm and I haven't gotten an alignment yet but naturally lowering it will increase camber and tweak toe. If you're in stock suspension with OE alignment, perhaps lowering, and more importantly, maxing out camber might be enough to plant your car a bit more.
1. I thought they were somewhere near the Super Sports and waited for the overheating to begin, etc. Nothing. Gripped and gripped. Changing to PS4S would bring maybe 10% extra grip, but with the pain of pressure adjusting and more noise/less mpg.

2. After 5 or 6 really fast laps, you could feel the pedal travel getting a little bit longer, but the braking power stayed the same!

3, 4. Indeed! We have a singer (pun intended?!)

The 4-5 sweep, two very high speed left-right turns, has a lot of level changes and the 5's apex is almost a bump which launches the car upwards. Lowering the car without changing shocks and springs can't bring much, maybe even more "unsettling". 160-170 km/h would be max for me, with a very gentle initial turn in.
If you try to "force it" and arrive at the 5's apex with a too high speed, you get launched in the air, miss the braking point and land right in the armco.
For the 7, I just need a few more laps sometimes later. It's a late apex downwards sweeper, I even see it a little off camber.
Otherwise, I am OK with it as it is, I don't do any tuning to my cars. One of my "quirks". Not even stickers or "scented trees" I will keep the T as my fun road car and starting the quest for a 992.2 GT3 or one of the next generations.

Looks like stock calipers and replaced rotors of stock size. Still lots of room to get in there to clean the inside of the rims....

If you are looking for a brand new 2023 911 T with a manual transmission -- I just listed my Guard's Red 911 T on cars.com -- I was offered a GT3 allocation at a reasonable price from a dealer I have bought three cars from in the last two years so the 911T I waited six months for is on the sale block. Only 170 miles on the odometer. Guard's red -- clean California title and one year registration paid up. I might regret not keeping the 911T and keeping the extra $100,000 or so in my bank account -- and not sure my wife will be a happy co-driver in the GT3 but I needed to own one of these even for a year or so perhaps.

Waking up this morning and reading your story in bed with all the pictures was a blast! Thanks. And amazing radius. That picture with 1043km left while 75% full was amazing. You should have than filled it again for that 1350km picture. I honestly don’t think that will be easy to recreate. I thought mine was already good. Will now try to do my best to beat that. But you really need to make a picture otherwise it doesn’t count

I do advice you to check the alignment though. Even if you don’t want it changed, standard it’s always off a bit compared to what Porsche wants. So you don’t have to change it. On the other hand if you change it you can always change it back easily. I assume you did not have time to go to Apeldoorn? Too bad we couldn’t meet. Maybe next time.

@Uhu is 90L tank an option in DE? or did you have it modified?

I have seen max 892 km range, when traveling through CH

The trick is the car is measuring the odo meter from the last tank. It’s not the same as resetting the computer values. So basically what you need to do is first reset the values on the dash meters (for your own measuring). Then fill it partly (!) with gas when half empty. Cause that will reset the odo meter. Then drive as economical as you can untill the odo meter is maximized. Then fill it up completely.

I would like to see who can get the highest number. But Uhu will win for sure. I always like to do this untill I get the highest number. Then my patience is gone. But you don’t need much ground. You just need to know the trick. But Uhu is doing it on the fly which is very amazing. I guess some cars are more economical than others. Of course the rest is based on each driving style. But I mean when we all try to drive economical for some miles the values should be a bit the same. But you see it differs more than you would expect.
