Well said, this is exactly what needs to be done.

Default Badge change

I also changed my Carrera T badge awhile back, I also believe having a grey badge ties in with the back grey badging, the side mirrors and grey calipers!

I think the original gold badge is MUCH prettier and classier than that gray one

different stokes for different folks
I did not do it for anyone but me to like it. If you get a 911 and like the Gold badge then keep it that way it would be your car after all.

Do you actually think the gold one looks better on the T
Or are you just used to seeing the original gold badge on every 911 out there, so seeing a different colored one seems foreign to you??

You would think that it would be an issue, but its like an out of sight out of mind thing. you Do not even think about them being different colors
At least I dont, I see the grey on the hood, and smile, then I get inside and drive and smile.

but maybe I am a bit insane for not caring if things matched, i did after all have two different center caps on my winter wheels ha ha haaa
As you can see my car in the winter is just sinning, different front badge compared to steering wheel, different center caps, bahaha

Yes just for winter though they are 20 and 19s in the winter.
In the summer I have 21 and 20s that came with the car!

My T had a gold crest on the hood and steering wheel, and black badges on the rims, as built.... it never matched anyway

Now it has the turbinate badge on the hood and looks great

I do like it on my T but maybe because my car is yellow… and I’ve never paid attention or seen Porsche badges before I bought this car cos I never liked Porsches.. had never driven one before either… but the gold one looks good on my yellow car to me
