Guys - wanted to add some perspective . . . I don't know for how many this is their first custom ordered Porsche (or car even). If it is, relax and enjoy the journey. Know that you designed your car literally out of whole cloth, down to the color of the stitching of your seats even. And artisans (and maybe robots) will in due time make your car according to your wishes.
I know many of us are following intently ship departures, ETA's and similar. That's all fine. But don't lose sight of the bigger picture - your car will be made just for you and no one else. When you stop and think about that, that's pretty cool.
Onward.
Thank you for the reminder... Its a special thing to be part of this forum/thread/group of people lucky enough to be worrying about such trivial things... Beyond excited for the next step, hard to stay focused on a daily basis.
For the ones that had Production starting 5-6-7-8 March.. have you received any more updates?
My last one was the full side pic Friday 10th
and nothing new since.
For context... Mine completed on the 9th, after originally showing that it was starting on the 3rd and would be done on the 13th... it updated to then show started on the 3rd completed on the 9th... I have the paint shop pic and the "assembly line" photo from the front... I have not received the side assembly line photo or the final photo with tires yet. I got both of those pics on the 9th, with no change since.

My production started on 3/8 and I got the final pic early on 3/13. And, yes, I saw a fresh update on TYD late last night showing production completed, which now shows the completion date as 3/14 (even though it was clearly done on 3/13).
@AdamIsAdam my production starts one week earlier, but only two days sooner on delivery....damn midwest landlock. probably boat buddies....shark blue too?
side note, just got VIN assigned in TYD, but "production pics" folder still empty......
This thread is nuts! I try and do some work for a few hours and I'm pages behind! lol
@dassArse I have a Shark Blue Cayman GTS, so for my 911T I went with Python like @BaxterPup (sorry about the Goodyears btw, but the car looks amazing!)
A IGM T has landed in Porsche South Orlando and is listed on their site. Not my car or near it but I see it on Instagram. Who is near ther to take some pictures to post?
Someone needs to call the dealer and ask about the exhaust button and tailpipes! @toph4242 ? You up for it?
So there you have it! Now who owes me that $430 I spent for silver tips to get the button? LOL
I was taking bets on this.... but had no takers lol, so I have nothing to pay out to you. I will take the blame (and pass the blame directly on to my SA and the PCNA rep that screwed us all haha)
