Yes, We are all well versed in what the configurator shows. Simply reiterating what I’ve heard from a friend who’s gt4 rs has been held up for months on certain exclusive options.
The point was I am doubting it is the small premade “bespoke” armrest when the dash cam prewiring nor aluminum pedals tend to cause a delay.

Plus, I find other auction sites like BaT bring more money with its bigger audience. Pcar Mkt is good for Pcars, better than Cars & Bids. But I think BaT still brings the most money.
100% agree. Also, it appears there’s been a lot of negative reports about PcarMarket here on RL, which has likely reduced the buyer pool. I don’t have experience with either one, but from watching the results over the last few years, it’s hard to imagine going with PcarMarket over BaT.
26k for well used 4Ss is pretty good. Did you ever move forward with a second allocation?
I can’t quite believe it. I have done multiple trackdays. High speed driving on Autobahn (+300km/h) and a drift day. Feel like a loser actually. The second allocation has been ordered but not a deal yet. Don’t want to pay too much.
Interesting that this info and the following post differ. I think we have a divergence of people here. Some are interested in the ratio from MT vs PDK(me.), but a few are interested in Carrera S vs T. And we are talking past each other instead of listening.
I also found it odd that the buyer wouldn't take videos. "No video of the car running and driving will be provided. It's only got 218 miles and there are plenty of videos on YouTube that show the driving experience of the car.".
Like I agree that if it's totally fine it will sound just like the Youtube videos, but that's kind of the point when people ask to see pictures/video to make sure nothing is different. That's a shame though to spend $5k plus whatever sales tax in Utah was for 218 miles.
I need to move to Utah, I pad over $16k in taxes in Illinois. I agree with the seller. A driving video on a new car is ridiculous.
I have to say that I like the 992.2 dentures, but that is not enough to get me out of my 992 T. I will have to see the full package specs before I decide.
Frankly, I think these pictures might still be a decoy. It looks too disorganized, with those weird squarish vents inboard of the gills. They don't match the roundness of the rest of the car at all. Maybe they will have a better package at the real/official unveiling.

I think we've reached the conclusion with all this data that all the 7 speed manuals and all the 8 speed PDKs in 992s are the same. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
I have no experience of RWS on Porches, but I did have it on a Ferrari Lusso T.
it helped make a huge heavy car feel like it had a smaller wheel base and hence much easier to throw round a corner.
A 992 is not as big, but it isn’t small.
I am hoping the weight gain will be offset by extra agility.
As bummed as I was earlier in the week due to my build date being moved out, I'm equally as happy today. The later build date allowed me to finally add the aerokit. I'm beyond pumped as I wanted this as a factory option and not have to deal with adding it after the fact. Below is how my T is spec'd. Should be here in later March if there are no further delays.
For those who moved from the 991.2 T to the 992 T: worth it?
I currently own a 2018 T with a manual transmission, carbon bucket seats, SportDesign front and rear bumpers, 30k miles, and a four-year extended warranty now. For about $35K I can upgrade to a 2023 T with manual transmission, four-way seats, real-wheel steer, front-axle lift, and very low miles. Other options and warranty coverage will basically be the same.

I think the 992 has more room to depreciate in the coming months and years. That aside, what are you getting with a 992? The interior design and PCM are the biggest changes. Huge improvements IMO. The exterior on both cars is attractive, the 992 having the widebody of course if you like that. The driving experience I assume would be largely similar. I don't think I would make the jump for 35k plus the loss in equity over time, especially if you have a warranty on the old one. Unless you're tired of your 991 and you need a little refresher and excitement. If you still drive the old one and are happy with it I'd keep it for a while longer and try to make a bigger jump into a 991 GT3 with an extended warranty.
Extremely frivolous question here, but has anyone found a way to add color to the little strip on the center of their Racetex steering wheel? See the picture below to see what I’m talking about. On GT3s this strip is colored to match the seatbelts/gauges/stitching. I’d like mine to be yellow, but am not going to spend the cost of recovering the whole wheel just for that pop of color. Hoping there is a dye or paint that can be used.

If I recall you have a pretty nice 991 t with buckets. I would hold tight or at least custom order a new one if you have the itch.
