Tomorrow is my build freeze date!! I was going to submit a last minute update to delete the rear seats but given the above, I am worried about losing the SD package if I do so
I freeze in 9 days, I submitted today the addition of the extended range tank and it shows on my build, my SD package in high gloss black is still there.
Just checked mine again and VM2 and VR4 are both still there. I haven't changed it in over 3 weeks. I was going to add the dashcam prep now that someone confirmed the wire, but in light of this I'm touching nothing!
I'm with @AdamIsAdam though, and might cancel this order if the aero kit isn't available, and just pick up a used S. I hope that doesn't happen. So far I've lost carbon buckets and PCCB's, the aero kit will push me over the edge.
Can you post up the dashcam prep info? I left it off my build as I was under the impression it didn't give you a wire in the rearview mirror area (which I would use to Mirrortap for a radar detector). Thanks!
Dashcam prep is now standard.
If you go to the configurator and select ‘Standard Features’ then ‘Confort Systems’ you’ll see it there.
BTW this is the case in the UK so assume it also applies in USA??
Be warned the Porsche dashcam will knock you back well over $1000 even with the factory fitted prep

Not the case in the USA.. still a $130 option on this side of the pond... at least our config still has it that way, and my build sheet still says im paying for it

Well, this is the same company that charges you to remove leather and substitute a cheaper material. Racetex wheel, etc. should be a free option too.

Porsche stock price has risen 5% today alone.
What’s going on - can’t see any production figures being released etc but clearly good news of some type has reached the market.
As a stock holder myself, can I take this opportunity to thank you all for making me richer, and if you haven’t frozen yet I encourage you load up with options, particularly the more expensive ones!!
