How long were you at Emden? Mine arrived 10/27 but I didn’t make it on the Composer.

Mine arrived on October 23rd. Sorry you didn't make it onto the composer, I know that frustration!

TYD still telling me its going to take a month to cross the North Atlantic, but I'm hoping that's incorrect.

The stickers have arrived. They look good, but will probably put them on (inside) in spring only.

ETA for my T is mid January. I have a set of Porsche Tequipment winter wheels and tires on order. I plan to take delivery of the new car with the winter wheels installed.

Hope this helps.

'To distinguish themselves from lesser models in the range!!"
OK so do we assume GT cars are 'lesser models' than turbos??

To come back to the Carrera T? When did we have it?

From multiple dealer principal and GM friends, I have been told PTS is done for all non-GT 992.1 cars because PAG is focused on the the 992.2 and doesn’t want to slow down the process of wrapping up 992.1 production.

For those that are well-versed in Porsche production. Do Exclusive Manufaktur options tend to slow/delay the completion of production?

TIA

Do not include Motor Trend Editor/Writer Jonny Lieberman in that camp. I seem to recall that he knocked the T several months ago on Spike’s Car Radio. FYI, I generally take what he says with a grain of salt anyways.

They put no effort in to resolving. 24s were starting to be delivered to the US and I was still waiting for a 23. I expressed this to my dealer and he told me he would rather have a 23 and save the $8k. I agreed with him, that I would rather have a 23 IN THE 23 MODEL YEAR! Finally I called Porsche. Within 24 hours I received 3 emails from various levels of management. Within 48 hours I was on a boat and bound for the US. Earlier this year, long delays at the port were common. Mine was the extreme that I knew of. By the time I became the extreme and realized I needed to follow it up, I had let a lot of time pass.
What an unfortunate example of poor delivery management. The dealer being of no help is not surprising, glad you finally went straight to Porsche and got a resolution. Just horrible! Those of us that put in orders and wait know exactly what you felt. Good luck.

I stopped paying any attention to Jonny Lieberman years ago, so I didn’t realize that. I edited my post for accuracy. Cheers.

Yes, think of CXX as PTS for the interior. Same rules apply, including delays.

I agree with you about the part in bold, but I think he was asking about non-CXX EM options—e.g., colored tachometer or air slats covered in leather.

As to @TUD’s question, I think it can delay things, but it depends on the option and parts involved. And ever since the pandemic and Russia/Ukraine war, answers to questions such as yours are not as easily known. There have just been so many unexpected manufacturing and operating delays.
