I meant I know the ex-owner of the IG one.

Don't know who owns the flame spitting RSN beast.

Great review of the new S/T. I’m on the wait list but not getting my hopes up.

I watched that earlier. I really do hate how awesome and unobtainable it is

Do you think in my circumstances (with fitted hearing aids) I should put back the rear seats to help lessen the cabin noise?.
I would welcome your comments or is the noise just about bearable what revs does the car pull in 7th gear at say a 80 mph cruise, if it is more like 2000 rpm perhaps will lessen the effect of the cabin noise? As 80 is pretty much the speed limit in Europe apart from Germany.
Thanks for any advice, Great pics of your trip up to Rennsport journey. Devon Racer
I would test drive a T. It's not just the rear seats and the engine. It's the light weight glass and the light weight carpet combined with the rear seat delete. Perhaps a base or an S might be a better choice for you. However, all 992s 911s have loud cabins and it's mostly road noise vs engine. The engine in the 992 T in normal mode is quite quiet.

Dude, as someone who's gone through the broken glass issue, I feel your pain. Big hug.

I'm picking my car up at PEC on Thursday (36 hours from now as I write this!!). That sounds like good news to have the AGM battery on the 2024s. Is that for all (both non-RAS and RAS)?? FYI, I don't have RAS on mine. I was quietly hoping Porsche would go back to regular glass as well (slightly more weight vs unforced cracking seems to be a tradeoff I'd be willing to take), but given the $300k S/T also has lightweight glass, this all seems to be a Porsche thing now.

Okay…

992 PTS is sold out for MY24. The email below is from PCNA to my selling dealer. My PTS request was declined in mid August.

You give too much credit. Competency in a car dealership is rare. You would talk to a salesman who would look to the same configurator we do and say sure...we can get you on the list for that. On the rare occasion a leaked document shows up here about ordering constraints...I know that "we" now know more than 95% of all sales professionals.

Saw a few Porshe’s on the way to Rennsport and a fellow who will be bringing a 914 6 which is sweet, and then an air-cooled 911 I believe 1977-80 or so, it was moving pretty fast so it was hard to get a good look at it I wish I had pictures
