Ma’wa’son is just a YouTuber who struck gold with those drag setups.
Sutcliffe is now more of a freelancer and does different reviews for a bunch of magazines. I think you can consider him monkey’s mentor, at least at the beginning. There is a nice video of him with a i30N at Nurburgring.
Choco is Bovington. Drove the N24h this year, in a M4 GT3.
Metcalfe also used to travel more, especially to his boat down in the south of France or to different locations in Italy, etc. But he knows his stuff or does research before.
Frankel is “metcalfe light”, also nice. I remember that he managed to blow up a pretty expensive engine and got sued for it😬😅
I suspected is someone from Lovett, by how often he was there, but it’s always funny to try to guess which car will be bought or sold, depending on the reviews. I also noticed that his relation with Porsche has cooled down somewhat, he was not there when the RS was launched, etc. We cool, of course everyone has and can have different opinion about what he likes or not.😇😅
In a nutshell😜…and in the world!😂
I think when you refer to Frankel blowing up an engine and been sued you might be confusing it with Mark Hales who over revved David Piper's 917 at Cadwell Park
whilst free lancing an article for Auto Italia magazine on a 512 / 917 comparison.
Daivd Piper won in the high court. £50,000
Whilst I could not join the Rennlist meeting I was enjoying myself again on a trackday. Still with my first tires after 24.500km but finally it is time to order a new set of Michelin!
Funny to see my car on the screen
This was an insane colored GT3
Nice to see a brother T in sharkblue with the sharkblue GT3T.
I spy a 992 Dakar hiding back there. I hope they didn't have the big knobby off-road tires on
@Wilder
Your latest pic is the best so far, you can see more clearly how dependent you are on the ladder’s support!
How many people will it sleep?
I imagine you get attractive women coming up to you regularly to ask you the same question?!
How small is it folded down?
Im seriously tempted to get one!
Sleeps three. It unfolds like a sandwich and the latter serves as a support leg. It doesn't fold down. When you see it on the car packed up, that's as small as it gets. There are a tone of interesting cars at RR7 and my car is getting a disproportionate amount of people taking pics and giving thumbs up because of the tent. I'm not around the car that often but I've seen several attractive women throw themselves at the car when they see the tent.
Aaaand, moving back to another kind of tasty dish, the 4 wheeld one, here is another test/review. This time from "911& Porsche World".
PURIST PERFECTION - The Carrera T recipe has been refined for the 992-generation 911, and it’s a tastier dish than ever...
For our money, then, the new Carrera T is the yardstick by which all other track-oriented 911s should be measured.
More supple than the GTS, cheaper than the GT3 and more aggressive and engaging than a Carrera, the Carrera T is the best-value offering among the most driver focused models in the current 911 range.
The same was true of the 991 Carrera T, but the new version is a´noticeably more impressive car, bringing even more focus to the recipe without sacrificing, well, very much at all.

When I say there's no other Carrera I'd want to own, this is why. GTS is pretty much a Turbo if the Turbo(S) didn't exist. S and base are too old man Grand Tourer (I mean attitude, not physical age). No Carrera will ever be a GT3 but given the allocation and ADM games with GT cars, it kinda becomes something to look at. Older Carreras were more hard core. The T follows that lineage.

In all fairness the S can be optioned almost identically to a T so I wouldn’t call it old mannish.

How many Ss are optioned like a T? I have yet to see one. And I guess that review should come with an asterisks because there are plenty of not so well optioned Ts too.

💯my reason of ordering one when it was announced. After 5 months and 2500 km, not disappointed at all.
You're right-GT Silver interior bits look great, esp against the Lizard Green T package IMO. Ohhh, and good luck on your new 992T, you're going to LOVE it. I just went over 10000 miles last Sunday, got it 4/27/23.
Thanks - that looks fantastic, especially with the green stitching too.

Drove an almost identical S at Hockenheim, after driving my T at zandvoort and to Hockenheim. The S had PDK and PDDC, extra, compared to my T.
The S sounds different, less angrier, turns lazier, almost like it doesn’t want to.
I posted a review from a French car magazine, comparing the S to the T and they came to the conclusion that Porsche, despite using the same ingredients in the S and T, they somehow made T sound, drive and feel angrier and more direct.
