That's why I love my Cayman GTS 4.0 for the road.

Default First Post! Thoughts on DarwinPro CF spoiler on a T?

Hi Everyone—first post here after lurking for a few weeks! Picked up my Chalk T a couple of weeks back and then had it tinted lightly and PPF’d. Also added GT3 side skirts.

I’m thinking of adding a DarwinPro CF “trunk” lip spoiler — I’d leave it unpainted. Any opinions on if that would go well with my setup / visual theme?

My internal debate is if it would be too contrasting if left unpainted. Or maybe it could go well with the agate grey and black T accents throughout.

Thoughts?

I daily my Spyder, it is not a track car but it is a mid-engine, high-revving screamer of an engine with a proper six-speed manual, two trunks, and amazing handling. Don't forget topless.

Unpainted carbon fiber trunk lip should work well? Similar tone / colour as agate grey.

Unfortunately my dealer told me that while the configurator shows Aerokit, it's not available to be added to orders until early December.... If I keep my current order, it'll already by built by that point and waiting for a different order isn't an option as they have no allocations available for me later this year.

Bummer... Kinda heartbroken over it... But I guess a standard Guards Red Carrera T 7MT is a decent consolation prize.

If you've got a freeze date after mid-December, get the Aerokit!

I imagine many would prefer (or would have preferred) the AGM battery.

If the Aerokit is important to you, ask your dealer to trade for a December build allocation. Although there is also the possibility that your dealer doesn’t know what he’s talking about. It’s been known to happen.

I had a November date, but as soon as I added the Aero Kit, it went into v100 - Feasibility Check Failed, and then a day later Porsche updated the build date to December and now it's just v200 with the Aero Kit. If you leave the Aerokit on it, will Porsche automatically update the build date in 48 hours to a December build date?
