Thank you! Yes, it is the 14 ways. Seems like the options are different than the US, other than that, some of the options are default basic options in China as well for example -- PDLS+ light, and Power Steering Plus etc.

Sounds like your dealership has a slot but is holding out for someone willing to pay ADM? A policy Porsche frowns upon but is readily done her in the US. Dealerships here really want these things priced in the $150s. Wonder if pricing will take another significant jump next year? Or they just suspend the T option for awhile?
2024 allocations were starting to be handed out in May/June, my 2024 was built a week ago and is scheduled to be delivered in mid October.

May/June seems to be the point of allocations? My local told me next round comes out then. Thus all sold out currently. My order was placed 7/27/23 and will be delivered on 12/29/23. I freeze on 10/30/23. If I want to make a change now, and thank god I don’t, the next available allocations are for May/June ‘24.

Interesting. thanks for the update. My config (it will trigger many I'm sure) is around $172k USD regardless if I go with

Dealer #1 ($10K ADM with an existing allocation frozen in Nov, with delivery in Jan)
Dealer #2 (guaranteed at MSRP no additions, with no allocation right now, but expecting allocation in October/November).

Dealer #1 said regardless of total options, they will charge $10K ADM... I could go with based Model T or my config at $172K USD it's still $10K ADM.

Allocations seem to be released at least on a quarterly basis, I know there are some people here that that recently received allocations for builds happening at the end of this year (and yes these will be 2024 year models of the 992.1 series).

Hang on Scott, page 46 is fascinating.…
Certain oil additives are designed to reduce oil consumption and improve compression, making them a popular temporary fix for bad piston rings’.
Now that really is interesting!!

Wow, even at a loaded T they still want $10K over. That is greed to the nth degree! Tells me how rare and hard they will be to find. Currently on the Porsche web search site, they show only two available 911s available within a 500 mile distance from my SW Florida location. Both are Ts, both black, one in the low $150s the other in the high $150s.

I thought allocations are released on sales volume. More sales more allocations? Even heard that Porsche has a 75/25 rule. If you don’t make your 75% in sales, you could lose the remaining 25% allocation to a difference dealership(s)? Down here in FL only (2) 911Ts remain available new in the state currently and within 500 miles as well.

I have found it's very true to higher volume dealers get more allocations than smaller dealers, this is why it's a good idea to check around with various dealers to see what the allocation landscape looks like for each.

If I had my sights set on a 992.1 T and didn't have a confirmed allocation yet, I'd start to worry. Yes it seems like more allocations are coming in (quarterly?) but when will they stop? I'd try to get as much info about when the 992.2 is going to drop as that's likely going to signal the end of the 992.1 T production. Prior to that, I'd want a confirmed allocation with commission #.

Some of you may appreciate this...

Today I bought a euro 1986 Carrera slicktop with 284k km (114k mi). Over the next 14 months or so, the car will undergo a nuts and bolts restomod to a 1972 911ST. Aim is ~2,150lbs and ~280HP.

Very achievable and looks very clean to start with -- although there are a few tricks to get the weight on a G body down that much. My '72 is about 2250 w/ a 3.6L and heavier aluminum transmission. Are you going full '72 style with the forward oil sump and oil door on the right fender?

The car is being project managed by a young guy in Germany who started building his ST at age 23 and has subsequently started building other cars as a passion project. Mine is being modeled after his with a few differences that are still being decided upon. His car is based on a 76 with a 3.0 motor and weighs in at 2,138 lbs with full liquids. He left some weight on the table that we'll be taking off of mine but I'm also going to go with the electric AC upgrade whereas his is AC delete. No decision yet on oil sump/oil door but doubtful. Not aiming for originality as much as aiming to "reimagine" the ST. Keeping very close to OEM though. Not going "Singer" with it.
