Since there is so much choice we decided I will be going to his workshop and see what I want and then construct the manual on the spot! What a great guy!
Brown just delivered this! My goal with this design was to make it look stock, but feel way better. In my hand, it certainly feels really good, both in terms of weight and material quality!
23 cars registered so far. @Pivot and @Macboy are setting the example with miles per day owned. @Scott P and @arrivederci are not far behind. I look like a hero only because I did 900km in one day but I'm actually going to fall far behind. Probably won't drive the car at all until mid next week.

Since you are going there, can I ask you a favor @Macboy ? I wanted to order the alcantara (sportex) version but the pics make the SportShifters color look way darker than the OEM sportex that I have on my interior.
If you get a chance could you ask how closely it might match or if it would be way off? Thank-you!
Reserve not met. Thinking the platform is the problem. I don't understand how a PG car could be let go like this.
I figure a few things contributed. The seller probably tried to list with BaT but they wouldn't accept a reserve that high. So next choice was C&B ... which as you point out isn't as strong of a platform. It doesn't get as much traffic and seems to sell cars at lower prices. And then we are probably looking at this through rose/PG colored glasses. In reality that's a nice build, not a great one from my perspective. There are $5K of options on this car that I passed on and would still pass on. Maybe the seller's story is true but with a reserve like that it starts to look more like a flipper.

I netted at nice profit on a new vehicle with less 500 miles last summer via Cars & Bids. It really comes down to detailed information, constant seller participation, and timing. In general the luxury auto market appears to be slowing just a bit too. Naturally one’s location has a significant bearing on that.
Edit: The advantage to Cars and Bids over BaT is the reserve. Cars and Bids typically lets the seller stipulate the reserve whereas Bring A Trailer does not. Cars and Bids will also personally kick over extra monies if the auction is close to meeting the reserve. Clearly this one was not close.

Cars & Bids often comes up short. It happened to a few friends of mine. BaT brings more money because of the wider audience. I've negotiated with BaT about setting my reserves in the past. Once, they won, once I won. Both times the hammer price exceeded my expectations, so we all won!
Oh, and BaT will make up a close shortfall as well to make a deal happen. This may still close, just not publicly.
All very good points by everyone. My biggest issue is the smaller platform. I too was looking at this through the same points that @VarTheVar made: opportunity cost. 1. some are still paying ADM, 2. invoice is pre-price hike, 3. you're at least 6 months away from the car if you ordered today, 4. No more PG. These are things I thought about when I speculated this might go to $155k. Paying $15k ($10k + fees) over current price to get a driver-spec car that can no longer be built without PTS and getting it today seems like a reasonable premium.

At least it went up over MSRP.
I think we are ignoring the obvious answer - that PG isn't desirable. That's why Porsche pulled it after 2023.

Technically you can't even get PG through PTS. It isn't an option at all. There are lots of other greens, such as Green lol.
