Full car in black and red. Got rid of all the silver. No exhaust not at the back and around the windows. All black and agathe grey. And then Porsche decided white/silver on the lights was a good idea. Without being clear about it. What was Porsche thinking? Traumatized. Will get coming back every few months. Wilder now triggered the trauma again.
Indeed we do! Finally, disagree on something. Lol. To each their own but ambient lighting is great on a luxury car. It doesn't belong on a sports car IMO. A sports car should have only what the driver needs to drive. Nothing more. Ambient lighting? I'm sure MB was hoping to give their cars a bit of spa feel. I don't want that in my 911. YMMV.
I see your point about the headlights. I like them better black too but they don't bother me and I wouldn't pay to have them blacked out.
I agree on the sportscar part. But you do have to realize Porsche German engineering. They make a sportscar that can be used as a luxury daily driver. And is used like that many times. Also with all the leather and fabric inserts that you can chose it actually is more customizable than some German luxury brands. So even if you use it as a sportscar for many people Porsche is also definitely a luxury brand. For those who use it as sportscar they can skip the luxury options. Like ambient lightning. But if you use it as a luxury car, you get the Zastava lightning. That was more the point I was making.
Somebody posted the ambient lightning with a picture here in red. It was pretty cool. But it’s just a picture. In real life it doesn’t even get close to other brands.
Back to driving the damn thing. Yesterday went to the Nurburgring without knowing it myself, was just driving around and turned out it was open. Sorry @Uhu
I have ambient lighting on my 992 Targa 4 and my 23’ Panamera executive and it is okay. Not a great design by Porsche. Kind of washed out looking. But not that exciting in my opinion from actual usage. I did not order it in my T. I like the blacked interior. Both with and without are okay. Personal preference. Like deviated stitching- my first three or four allocation cars I was over this deviated stitching thing and did not order it on my 911 T or the GT3 coming in a month or so. I don’t miss it at all in my 911T.

I am so glad that people are getting their shirts. You would have gotten them earlier but one of Brian’s employees placed the Porsche crest behind the neck and the PORSCHE on the sleeve so he had to redue them. We both agreed that they needed ti be done so sorry for the slight delay. Adam don’t worry I was going ti bring you one with the aero kit to Bear mountain as a gift. Do you take XL? I leave for vacation and when i get back hope to work with him on that design. Would like to see what the white looks like so post it if you ordered one. We had to switch brands (same quality) because the white in the Canvas brand was almost see through.

Just one important thing. The standard lights come with the (in my eyes very ugly) white/silver upper part. Only the PDLS+ comes with the black upper part. Unless you have a GTS. So could be a good reason for somebody to order it. I am still disgusted by the ugliness of my lights. And hate nobody told me that before or mentioned it here. I do think on a black car it’s not a big issue.

I purchased a L and a XL. At 5’11” and155 lbs I prefer my T-shirts a tad loose versus snug. I will update later today as to how they fit after being washed and dried.
