Attention 9/9 T Meet participants:
I have below as 100% for sure showing up for it. I’m going to be ordering T-shirts soon using T-meet graphics provided by Tourenwagen. Let me know now (order needs to go in soon) if not on list and 100% attending. They’re going to be simple shirts (nothing fancy) but hopefully a momentous item with 9/9/23 date on it, etc. For those listed, please respond with desired T-shirt size. Likely cotton shirts so recommend ordering one size up.
Thank you. Is there an official communication saying there is no 992.2 T? Just want to know if I should rush and try to get an allocation.
Thread starter here.
Porsche follows a very standard cadence for models. I’m assuming there may be a 992.2 T, as this generation has been quite popular.
However… it won’t be until 4-5 years from today. If you aren’t already on a list, it’s doubtful you will even get an allocation for the 992.1 T, but good luck!
Have any of us done exhaust and valve controller, or exhaust and tune w/open valves? Just curious. I had the valve controller on my S which was nice, but thinking I may take that a step further with the T and add an Akro or perhaps the new BBI exhaust.
Yes, I have the ME tune w/ valves open and the JCR titanium exhaust. I think it sounds great.
Shirt color yes, well it's actually called black but looks like a dark heather (I believe white is also an option) and also there are options for the car image to be in all of the available colors you can get your T in. Quality of the shirt is great as well!

Good evening, Here are the pictures from my experience
Congrats! So you're the one that Ross & Mark at PEC ATL were raving about! 🙂 I did a "mock" delivery of my 992 T this past Friday 7/28. That is, it was transported to my local dealer, and I did all the Atlanta festivities minus pulling the curtain off the car. Mostly because neither of my kids wanted to ride 900 miles / 1500 km in the back seat en route to Texas! 😂
I upgraded my driving experience to a 992 Turbo S, figuring I would have few similar opportunities to drive such a beast on a track. tl;dr - it's the fastest sports car with an "Easy Mode"! I have the feeling the 992 T will be more rewarding (albeit slower) to drive in most situations.
I was also at the Esports Challenge to tackle Laguna Seca in a 991.1 GT3RS in Gran Turismo 7. Turns out my 1:31 on my Thrustmaster T300 setup at home was amateur hour. The top folks put down a 1:29 with the very different feeling Fanatec CSL DD GT wheel and pedals. I couldn't get a feeling for the stiff brake pedal and only managed a 1:35. 😭
My 16 y.o. daughter did the Young Drivers Experience the next day. It's hard to impress teenagers nowadays, but she walked away with a huge smile and motivation to work hard to buy her first Porsche in a few years.
I drove the Turbo S while Ross gave my kids demo laps in the Carrera S.
One of the reasons the T may have come as 992.1 is because the 992.2 could be a hybrid model where a manual will not be available anymore. The core of the T. Its all unclear. But I would not put my money on it if I needed to decide now.

Maybe you can open a T windshield thread. We can then gather all info about this topic and all “prove” and videos. This would help convincing the dealers maybe to contact Porsche. Could be the dealer makes more money when the insurance is paying than when Porsche replaces it under warranty so there is no incentive there. Anybody know this? And most T users have not done thousands of miles. So a separate T windshield thread would be a wise start.

I was initially disappointed when my T arrived with Goodyear tires but I have been very happy with them. I think they actually make less noise than the Pirelli tires.
I just swapped my stock S mags on my T which had Pirellis with a set of Turbos Wheels which has Goodyears . I adjusted the pressure down and it’s much quieter . They are wider 255 and 315 . Of course, more grip..
