Sorry spend all my money on the car. Any random shoe is all I got left. Maybe slick is a better description than slippery. Less friction than stock pedals.

The former F87 M2 or the new G87 M2? The G87 M2 happens to be fairly wide in the rear.

The shop that does my PPF on all my cars will not put pp film on porsche headlights because he says there is a factory coating on the glass that he says the ppf will damage and tear off even often as the film is installed.

He says as you stretch the ppf and apply heat as well it impacts this factory coating. He only does ppf- nothing else.

I have 4 headlights that say otherwise. Installer needs to be confident and get it right on the first shot.

Our local Xpel shop whom is recognized as the dealer of the year by Xpel annually states the same.

Looks awesome. I see you deleted ambient lighting. To me, that stuff belongs on Mercs and not Porsches. Also, I have PDLS+ on my 17 Macan and driving the T on the highway for a couple of hours at night, the standard lights on the T are better than the PDLS+ on my Macan, despite the dynamic movement. I'm glad I went with the zero cost lights.

I like the functionality of the dynamic headlights on my 997.2, similar to PDLS+ and I also prefer that PDLS+ removes the silver on the top portion of the no-cost headlight.

Edit, I have already changed the Shark Blue seat belts back to the Silver Grey belts as I am fairly confident that I prefer for interior to be rather conservative.

What MPG are you getting?

Went for a drive today. Some city traffic to gas up and get out of town then highway, mostly between 80 and up to 160 MPH and 4-7k RPM when traffic cleared. Got 15 MPG. I'm pleased with that. Top Gear got 31 MPG at constant cruising speed.

Lol. I can't remember how many times I had my "final" build then I'd go and tweak some more.
I hear you on the conservative interior. I got the silver belts too and love them. My car is black.

I have not fully settled on an exterior color, so it very well could end up being Ice Grey or Guards Red. Therefore, many more changes to come. lol

Ok. I have 2 questions.

1. what is everyone doing for break in? The under 4k for 1850 miles like the manual recommends or following the Europe version of only 930 miles?

2. the base stereo is horrendous. Is it possible to replace the speakers only and get decent base and mid range for a full sound? I don’t like the idea of a shop taking out door panels and headliners.

thanks in advance.

There is a topic specifically about the audio of the T. There will be updates there. And you can search about break-in periods in this topic. Just look for Andreas Preuninger and you will find mine. If you cannot find it let us know.

I laughed so hard about this post. Cause it’s funny and so true. We have all been there lol.

I hoped you would not feel attacked but I thought probably nobody would say they really liked them I think it’s so nice to see somebody so happy because we can all relate to that.

I don’t agree. If Porsche would do their job right I would order it. But the ambient lightning on Porsche is just like on Zastava. Couple of light bulbs in empty places. It’s really a shame. If only Porsche would have ambient design lights like BMW or Mercedes. The interior has so much possibility for that. However, I am glad with my darkness.

EDIT: Did we finally find something we (partly) disagree on

Just one important thing. The standard lights come with the (in my eyes very ugly) white/silver upper part. Only the PDLS+ comes with the black upper part. Unless you have a GTS. So could be a good reason for somebody to order it. I am still disgusted by the ugliness of my lights. And hate nobody told me that before or mentioned it here. I do think on a black car it’s not a big issue.
