992 Carrera T Club

Here are some interior shots from the Porsche stock footage posted to YouTube last week. You can see three variations: the Carrera T Leather Interior with Slate Gray stitching with Sports Plus Seats and Full Bucket Seats and the Carrera T Leather Interior with Lizard Green stitching and Sports Plus Seats. The Slate Gray stitching appears to have a lot more contrast than it appears on the configurator. Porsche isn't showcasing any models with the Standard Interior at the auto show or online videos so it will probably feel a bit basic.

Will "Deviated Stitching Interior Package" also give the "911" in the headrest the same color?
I understand that deviated stiching won't affect the seat centers (like the lizard green package), but it'll brighten up the interior (like this GTS)

I think it would be fine as long as you don’t have anything in the interior neo. As it was mentioned opposite the color wheel and if you look at more detailed color wheels bright green falls into the “opposite territory”. Grey would be much easier to pull off and would look great as well and is a nice transition with the grey bits on the exterior. At the end of the day you’re going for neo which is already a bit out there, why not go full out with neo and green? On the 991.2T dealers had a tough time selling the Miami blue and lava models and now they a bit more sought after when in the right configuration.
small tidbit…when looking at headlights I ended up with the LED non-blacked out on the 991.2T. Little known fact but the bezel around the light matches the grey bits on the rest of the car. Ask a dealer if it’s the same in the 992 if thinking about the option…it is the little things that can bring the car together or make it disjointed.

The plan is to track this car so I'd be putting something like a GMG half cage in the back behind the LWBS. With all black or black with Ruby painted trim I'd color match the cage, but it seems like a lizard green interior package car with a lizard green half cage would be a lot more fun.

A bit extreme but here’s your answer to Ruby over green

Excited to say that I at least have a "commission number" now!!
Went to my dealer today and decided to do a pre-trade in of my current 992. I live in Boston and the weather was starting to turn so I decided to sell it since I wouldnt be driving much more this season.
Order Demand has been created and submitted by my dealer, Stage V070, and commission number was given to me with European Delivery selected. As soon as the allocation is received, they can flip the order over and get the process started.
They were more confident than ever today that buckets were going to be available... I know we've beat a dead horse on this thread with bucket conversation, but figured I'd share their confidence with everyone to help ease concerns.
Question for the group... This is my first European Delivery, and on my Order paperwork it gives the MSRP, and then below that there is a German VAT deposit in the amount of $25K so my final build price is reading as $155K instead of the $130K I optioned the car to... I didnt see this until after I left, but obviously I know I am not paying this amount... more so just curious if this is a deposit I have to pay ahead of time that is then refunded on delivery in the US? Or is this simply paperwork that has to be done for ED and at the end of the process wont hit my checkbook?

Thanks... Trying to figure out timing of payment etc then. Do you transfer payment and deal with setting up financing before you head over for ED then, and pay the VAT in cash? That is a much much bigger number lol

A much bigger number indeed. You usually pay in full (financing and all that) for the full price about a month before expected collection date in Stuttgart/Leipzig. Specifics of what they'll accept for VAT deposit is up to them. If it is Herb Chambers I'd expect they'd process the full amount and refund when you get back. It probably won't work, but I'm going to see if they'll let me pay VAT with a credit that has 0% promotional APR and then do a charge back afterwards. I'm guessing not.
