They should have identified my car for QA in October as it has been sitting in port since 10/1. So, it is a bunch of BS that once they are released they pick a few cars to hold!

Unless it is QA for just completed shipping or port damage...

That 4 days are the longest 4 days I've ever had.

Couldn't they have done QA while the cars were in the port for half a year?

Based off this shot. I don’t see the extended canister housing for the GPF.

That is my point - I am definitely annoyed, but what the hell can I do at this juncture? I have really taught Porsche a lesson by ordering a Spyder for PECLA delivery in March.

Which L.A. Dealer is this? I just spoke to my dealer (Porsche South Bay). They tell me that while their system is showing my car at their dealership today, it has not yet actually left the port in San Diego and they have no confidence that it actually will be at their dealership until they get notification that it has left the port.

So much for having the car by thanksgiving. I hate the politics in California

So there is no CARB cert yet? Could it happen over the weekend or does this mean that we have to wait until Monday?

I took delivery yesterday and loving it! And excited to find there is no GPF. Car sounds great.

Sharing picture if the interior in case it's of interest to others - 18-way Sport Tex with chalk stitching and aluminum trim.

SA emailed @ 9am said sales date is still today 11/20. Still no Carb release, will get back later in the day. If it doesn’t happen by 5pm, I would guess we’ll start this game again Monday.

If I’m not mistaken the CARB cars are no different than the EPA or non CARB state cars. So essentially we’re waiting around for some government @&$hole with a rubber stamp to give their blessings. So, if it doesn’t happen today, do you have any faith it will happen on a short holiday week?
