2021 Delivery Date?
#1396
Im in Los Angeles, car has been sitting in San Diego since October. TYD has just dropped to 1 day also and still saying a Friday 11/20 delivery--also I've never been down to a single day so im hoping but not getting my hopes up. Scary thing is the GM at my dealer has no clue and couldn't give me any new news today. So who knows!

This is the first time I've seen a number less than "3" so maybe, just maybe, this time it'll be for real!

For starters, doesn't seem that many people have taken delivery of 2021s yet. Even if I had taken delivery, how do I check to see if it has them? Are they in the center exhaust or the cats? I only ask because I plan to replace both regardless. Probably getting Soul Performance Sport Cats and Exhaust unless AWE beats them to market with a center exhaust replacement. Can I visually inspect the exhaust to determine if it has GPFs?
To answer the question about whether I would reject the car, it would admittedly be hard for me at this point. I may have not ordered the car in the first place but would likely just go aftermarket now. I would also feel misled as the car I ordered was not what I received.
For me, sound is like those who prefer manuals. I would happily sacrifice speed for the improved experience. I wish I like the 718 more because GTS 4.0 seems great.
Today is the day! Go in at 11AM!

That sucks. Happened to me earlier this week as well, except mine went to 12/4 (I’m in Texas btw).
I’m glad folks are finally getting cars. I have no idea how it’s being determined which cars get delivered and which ones get pushed back at this point.

Viking Queen- Davisville arrival
Viking Queen now loitering around 60 miles south of Davisville - appears likely to berth and unload late today or tomorrow - hopefully coinciding with CARB clearance.

Warren, my GSM is talking to the Regional Porsche rep on why our TX cars keep getting pushed back when he has received 3 2021 992s in the past week. When I know anything I will let you know. My GSM is very reliable and I hope for an update today that is enlightening. I suspect it may be as simple as the port is flooded with 2021s waiting to get out - not enough trucks an drivers.
