Just received an e-mail from our SM who states Porsche is providing all ordered builds stuck at ports free service for two years. Also, should know more tomorrow about the release date. Depending on what news we receive will determine the offer of a free loaner until our build arrives at dealer...

While I don't NEED A loaner, I wouldn't mind getting one until the car arrives.

Not a conspiracy theorist by nature but does that mean that release is imminent and so appear the good guy by offering a loaner or release is so far off that we better give em loaners - its bad when I start to try and read into stuff

Are you sure?

My experience (albeit in another industry) would suggest that warranty repair/ service that is performed by the dealer is inputted into manufacturer warranty repair reimbursement system at time of warranty repair/service-not before the service has been done.

They usually use Friday dates for “expected” milestones, so this might mean something...

Well that might be good news. Every time they've moved the date in the past it's always been to the next Friday, or in the case of Thanksgiving weekend they skipped a Friday. So maybe, a Tuesday signals a change?

Check with your dealer and see if PSVM system shows the same.

Traded in 991.2 in October based on expectations and been Avis since, which is not only a pain, my $750/month garage is sitting empty. No loaner offer forthcoming from my dealer, however.

FWIW, I’m hearing the same from my dealer.
