Also, the wheel insurance package they're offering me is $1895 for three years. In the last few years I've gone through at least one tire / yr - the roads on Long Island in NY are very bad in places and they're getting worse, not better. Sometimes it's impossible to see the potholes until after you feel that big thunk and then it's $600 after a free lfat bed ride to the dealer. Does anyone do the wheel insurance?
I've seen pricing on this site at $995 for 5 year with $50 deductibles. I'm going to offer $750 at most or pass. Replacing all 4 tires would only cost about $1300 and the chances of having to do that are very slim. Wheels are rarely replaced as compared to repaired which I can get done locally for a couple hundred if need be.
Has anyone in CT, NY, or NJ gotten a car yet? I’m in NJ but it seems like Davisville isn’t really pumping them out .... my dealer hasn’t gotten any 911s or 718s at all yet ....

Also, in NJ. No cars received yet. Dealer thinks Friday, but who knows.
I also have a car at Benecia since late October. Dealer destination only a few miles away. Haven’t heard anything, sales guy will contact tomorrow. That’s it.
update: received an email a little while ago. Car is at the dealership. PPF and detail, hopefully pick up the first of the week.
Great question. Yes, it is the slate grey standard leather interior. At the time of order, I originally went with full leather and chalk stitching. I made a couple changes before my allocation locked and somehow the full leather with chalk fell off the build (everything else was fine) and didn't find out until after the car was well underway to the port. Not a big deal as I was on the fence anyway over it and it saved me $3800 not getting it, plus the dealer gave me an additional % discount for the minor mishap. After now spending the last hour in the car learning the infotainment and whatnot, I can honestly say the standard 992 interior is such a step up to me vs the 991 interior, that it doesn't even bother me that I didn't go full leather. It's that good, in my opinion.
Clear side markers next! Awesome car! Glad you're finally out of CARB jail and got your car. As a fellow MT owner of a 992 how are you liking your choices? i too went with non full leather and am happy with both choices (non full leather and 7spd MT). Is that GT Silver or Dolemite Silver BTW?

Clear side markers are installed. Ordered those about two months ago. First thing I did yesterday. I’m liking the choice of both. Saved about $5k between the option and the addl discount for the screw up when it got accidentally left off the updated build. It’s GT silver.
I have to imagine that cars will leave port based on closest to farthest vicinity dealers. Davisville will get cars to RI, then MA, then NH first, then CT, NY, NJ, PA, DC, etc....
interesting - thank you!
is the basis for that conclusion information from NORAD/PCNA or something else?
since some cars are shipped by rail, does that same sequence apply to them?
My 992 C4S has been in Davisville since 9/30/20...and my dealer still has not notified me of any arrival in NYC date. So perhaps not first in - first out.
