How could you not blame Porsche for the completely unacceptable way they have dealt with communications - or total lack thereof - over the months this has gone on? I don't believe this is solely Porsche's fault...although we'll never know. But, indisputably, PCNA never lifts a finger to support their client base with information. Even if the near term future is unknown to them, why should we be trying to figure this out on the internet? They gotta know more than we do (although I am impressed with some of the research). So I will not buy another 911 because Porsche does not deserve my business because they don't care.

Wow..sounds like you will start getting your cars next week starting on Monday. Fingers crossed and sure hope so. Got mine day before Thanksgiving after the EPA hold and release...so understand the feeling. It is worth the wait though...haven't been back in my daily driver since the 25th man and its not slough..its and Audi RS5! LOL. This 992S is on another level tho...

Growing a bit more skeptical given that it seems a number of us in north NJ heard the same thing. Same dealer, same story?

Yes, seems we’ve been here before.

My NYC dealer said he'd check with PCNA Saturday around 11:30 AM. Radio silence since....Not sure there is any regulatory difference between NY and NJ.

According to mine - and full disclosure, it’s north NJ but they haven’t once fed me a line of BS about this - there is nothing official but the head of PCNA told their GM that the trucks start on Monday. Just to share the info, not to swear by it!

So, is this all coming from a single dealer? If those of you getting this message from your GM wouldn't mind identifying the dealer, it would help us lend credence to the report or not. No problem if you don't want to divulge your sources.

Davisville yes.

Id rather not name my dealer (not sure about anyone else). But they’re very north NJ, near NY border, and they’ve been totally upfront with me the whole time, like I said, no BS not even once.

So I’m hopeful but cautious ..... trust, but verify as the great man once said.

Manager at my dealership here in California says the same thing. We’ll see.

Same from me from a Massachusetts dealer. And, this dealer has not overpromised on timing as my car has waited in Davisville for over two months, including being up front with me late last week about not having any new information on timing. Seems like multiple dealers in multiple CARB states learned something late Friday or early yesterday that is suggesting we should be seeing cars moving beginning tomorrow/this week.

FWIW, my dealer in San Diego has always given me the update when the date gets pushed. I did NOT hear from him. I know that's a little tenuous, but combined with some of the other posts perhaps it's another data point that suggests release this week. I will be very interested to hear if people start receiving their cars (or have verification that they are on trucks) in the first part of the week.

Personally my money is on the cars being release the week of the 14th...

Sure they’ll get released tomorrow. Cue up Colonel Clink laughing hysterically.
