all good. I ended up replacing the guts of the old wheel into the new one however still none of the buttons or the horn work. Stumped.

did you replace the wheel harness, and the control box under the horn ring? I'm not sure if the steering wheel electronics unit on the wheel is different - but for sure the wiring is different. Technically, I think you only need to transfer the wiring harness from your stock wheel to the turbo wheel - if the buttons are not working, you have them plugged into the wrong spots most likely, but to be safe, I would swap out the electronics unit as well as you have it.

Yes I did transplant the harness (and the entire guts of the old one) after I realized something was amiss. however I don’t know how they should be plugged in anymore. I thought they were in the right spots. Is there a reference somewhere?

Let me see if I can find that info for you - or at least take a few photos of one of my wheels. The best source would be contact Stratulat Razvan @ info@protechpartseu.com - he knows everything there is to know about configuring 992 wheels. Send him a note, and I'lll also see what I can dig up . . . there is no programming to be done on the steering wheel electronic unit - only on the steering column switch unit which you didn't change.

You will need a PIWIS 3 to change the car’s configuration. I had my airbag warning and the associated chimes disabled as well.

I try to code using piwis4 ,so I look up under MIB2.but it will be not chaged...
perhaps on PCM5 change under way..Enable Wireless CarPlay in MY2019 that only came with wired CarPlay

Curious if anyone has been able to code the simplified dashboard offered post 2020? Don't have a pic at the moment but it combines each of the two gauge sets left and right of the tach into single views per side.

Any chance it can be made to display oil temp, oil pres, boost pres as well as the water temp?

Losing the outside temp and time would be fine with me as well.

Not sure as I believe it didn't come until 2022 my. Assuming there's code that has to be added (maybe @innovativesoft could help if that's true) to give the ability to load. Would be thrilled to be wrong and it's just a PIWIS tweak.

It should be just a tweak if it's available. Good to know it's 2022MY as I don't recall seeing anything like that when I was poking around Kombi
