As far as the install it's pretty straight forward, take your time and you're done in 20 minutes. Once you get the old pedals off it's kind of embarrassing how much cheaper they feel than the numeric ones.
Something for the weekend!
I had a set on my 991.2 and liked them well enough to buy another set for this car. I'm hoping the brake and clutch pedals go a little quicker this time around. The video makes it looks so easy but I had a heck of a time getting the bottom screws threaded on both. It was bit frustrating but worth the effort in the end. If you're thinking of these, they are very nice, especially the gas and dead pedal over the stock plastic.
Of course, reading through this thread I'm thinking of the red sport chrono ring from eBay...
Siberian will vouch for the red chrono ring though will warn that it may need to be touched up as the red is definitely not Guards Red for the bezel ring. In thinking about this and the red face, I agreed that it would be a massive overkill and actually like the black face with the red outer ring rather than the reverse of red face with OEM black bezel. YMMV

If either of you guys are heel-toe nerds like me, can you confirm whether these pedals make it easier to heel-toe on the 992? The issue I have is the throttle pedal is so far below the brake that it's difficult to heel-toe smoothly in normal street driving conditions. (And yes, I realize that these cars come with a very capable auto blip system!)
I'm surprised that Porsche wouldn't make it a little easier to heel-toe on their cars, though I guess they figure.....that's what auto blip is for.
Every manual I've had since '89 I've learned how shift without the clutch. Get to know the car, you can feel the through the shifter, the release of tension on the drivetrain when you temporarily lift the throttle.

Never heard a pro recommend that. Not good advice.

It can be done. Double Clutching helps. In any case, it really does put a lot of unnecessary wear on the Synchronizer Rings. For those that think they're so good at this, and believe that it's not putting excess wear on the Syncro's, Ya all need to try your skills on an old school, non-syncro (crash-box) transmission. Then tell me how good you are. Or just find an older car with a non-syncro first gear and see if you can downshift into first without grinding things.
