What did you buy your 992 today thread

It can be done. Double Clutching helps. In any case, it really does put a lot of unnecessary wear on the Synchronizer Rings. For those that think they're so good at this, and believe that it's not putting excess wear on the Syncro's, Ya all need to try your skills on an old school, non-syncro (crash-box) transmission. Then tell me how good you are. Or just find an older car with a non-syncro first gear and see if you can downshift into first without grinding things.

Just picked these up at the body shop today. Waiting on my 23 C4S to arrive and will put these on while in PDI. Car will be GT Silver with black trim. So excited! https://cc.porsche.com/icc/ccCall.do...bcode=PP66EMP0

Thanks Siberian! I don’t understand why folks don't want it but do love having it. :-)

Now if only the geniuses who designed it would figure out how to actually put a washer on it they'd be up for a Nobel.

A proper torque wrench to do the oil filter cap on the 992. I did not have one that could measure 20 ft. lb. This is a lovely, lovely, lovely tool. Plus, I could not ask Santa for it (wife) because she has no business knowing what Snap-On tools cost.

You went way overboard, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

90% of my tools in my two Snap-On boxes are Snap-On Brand. One day when I am in the dirt, someone is going to get a helluva buy as my wife has NO IDEA what the box and contents are worth. LOL. But I learned many, many years ago when I was racing motorcycles that quality tools are the only way to go, no regrets.

You should see the test sheet that came with this wrench (and every Snap-On), the accuracy of this is under 1% Benchmark.
