Yup, first car I learned to drive was a non-Syncro 4-speed Wolseley sedan.

Now if only the geniuses who designed it would figure out how to actually put a washer on it they'd be up for a Nobel.

A proper torque wrench to do the oil filter cap on the 992. I did not have one that could measure 20 ft. lb. This is a lovely, lovely, lovely tool. Plus, I could not ask Santa for it (wife) because she has no business knowing what Snap-On tools cost.

You went way overboard, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

90% of my tools in my two Snap-On boxes are Snap-On Brand. One day when I am in the dirt, someone is going to get a helluva buy as my wife has NO IDEA what the box and contents are worth. LOL. But I learned many, many years ago when I was racing motorcycles that quality tools are the only way to go, no regrets.

With respect do NOT ever use this to determine what whatever is torqued to since it's reversible. Just saying

You are saying that this torque wrench is no good for torquing fasteners because its reversible on the ratchet head? That is not correct, sorry. The lever to change the other direction on the head is for the occasional left hand thread that needs to be torqued, not there so the operator can loosen fasteners with it like a regular ratchet. No reputable mechanic uses this tool in that manner.

You should see the test sheet that came with this wrench (and every Snap-On), the accuracy of this is under 1% Benchmark.
